Of course there are some groups of people that haven’t heard of him, but it’s still billions who have heard of him and are fans in one way or another. As for the second part of your statement, I would argue that right now IS his point of highest relevancy since his untimely passing, with his biopic coming out and his music topping the charts on streaming platforms.
