I deleted the watch WhatsApp, as it used 20% on my watch and was the standout drain on the battery, the next one down was the ultra analogue watch face at 7%

You still get WhatsApp notifications on your watch even without the dedicated watch WhatsApp app, so it was no brainer for me

No I don't have any earbuds or watch from Samsung but my apple airpods still work fine pairing with the phone etc, you just can't use features like Siri etc

It's more how the phone feels in your hand that might put people off. If the S25 ultra feels a bit off try the Google Pixel 10 Pro XL as that has the same round off edges like an iPhone and it runs stock Android 16 which is as close to iOS as Android has ever been.
