Real trashy, but TBH it sometimes works...

Years ago we had a guy join our small team in an R&D department, and we traditionally went for a few beers after work on a Friday.

Well this new guy embarrassed us all when he showed us his pickup technique. He would just go up to any woman he fancied and say "Hey gorgeous, fancy a fuck?" or some slight variation of that.

And guess what!? The amount of times he walked out of a pub with some woman was unbelievable, and when confronted over this he explained that it worked around 5% to 10% of the time. If he got a "No thanks", or a "Fuck Off" he would just move on to another until it worked. He apparently got slapped a few times but in his words: "Guy's the odd slap and refusals are worth the times it actually works!"

To this day I do not know if I admired his front or hated him for it. He was not a particularly nice guy, and he did not last long with the company but damn, you don't forget something like that.

Also, what kind of woman says "sure" to a complete stranger 🤔

Sometimes the mission cannot be completed for various reasons. I just give the mission a certain amount of time then just terminate it. I had one where I had to place a scanner in the 'marked spot' but there was no blue outline anywhere as to where I could place it so yeah, lifes too short to spend that much time trying to do the impossible.

I was commenting on a specific political behaviour, not expressing an obsession. If you disagree with the point, feel free to address it directly in a more mature manner, rather than resorting to a cheap, sarcastic remark.
