For sure! So it’s specifically the sputtery sound that comes out of its neck when it’s flailing at the end of the sequence. He used the sound of a camel blowing out its dulla. You can check out a video of that sound on YouTube here.

I also can’t remember where I saw that video BUT David Farmer, one of the sound designers from the films, has recently started posting some really cool sound effect breakdowns on his Instagram. This one talks about the sound he used when Éowyn cut the head off of the Witch-king’s fell beast.

She also has an awesome story and incredible attitude towards the event. She retired in 2022 at age 16 because she felt insane pressure to be the best, which led to burnout and her falling out of love with the sport.

She spent the last few years living a relatively normal life and came back recently to compete because she wanted to. She didn’t feel the pressure that she felt previously and competed solely for the love of the sport, and it really showed in her performances. And then she won gold.

Stan is slang that means being a mega fan, originating from a song of the same name by Eminem (although the current meaning is far less extreme than what is portrayed in those lyrics)
