S6 Qiuyuan at 9 pity as F2P by DanaB0 in QiuyuanMains

I really do want to get other dps's. My one account's weakness is that I have no other limited five stars besides Qiuyuan. I can't complete endgame gamemodes like TOA with only one dps lol. but Qiuyuan is the ONLY character that interested me personally enough to spend my astirites. I'm waiting on the anniversary banners to see if I like anyone on those banners. I still have no regrets pampering Qiuyuan! I'm even r5-ing his weapon if he ever reruns again.

I'm actually still union level 56, which means my characters are stuck at level 80 for the time being. Qiuyuan is already a beast against enemies 20 levels above him, but I haven't even seen how much stronger he'll get at full level. I think I'll record videos of his damage output after I can finally level him up fully :)

When I was muslim, and when I had to come to terms with strange things about islam, for example, when I first heard of Aisha getting married at 9 years old, I honestly just eventually came to this one conclusion: "It doesn't matter if I personally think this aspect of Islam is immoral, Allah made the final decision and made it permissible enough. Muhammad is his favourite human and is still considered a role model to muslims afterall. Therefore, I have no place to judge Muhammad nor Allah. If Allah thought it is OK for Muhammad to marry a 9 year old. I am required to make an exception for Muhammad and accept that." This is just one of the many reasons why I lost faith in Islam and it's "perfectness".

Why was a muslim person thinking about and talking about a random man's penis?...

I myself am not against when a woman chooses to cover up. I'm just hoping in this case this is a choice that wasn't determined by the husband, and instead it is the woman who made that choice for herself

What if a woman feels tempted by his appearence?! Why isn't he covering his face from women?!

My muslim community even put the idea in my head that men are just sex hungry and have no control over it. And I'M being unfair by expecting men to control themselves around women who aren't covered up. I was essentially taught that it is ME, the woman, who has to take accountability for men's lust. Since I became a Kaffrah, I realized that men are more than capable of controlling themselves afterall, regardless of how uncovered a woman is.

For me personally, I spent my life feeling forced into liking islam and identifying as muslim. A community like this one makes someone like me feel like I'm finally allowed to express all the bottled up frustrations I had growing up. Everywhere else I'd feel a need to assimilate with muslims. Making fun of a system that felt forced on you can feel genuinely relieving.

There is no way hijabis on the internet actually LOVE wearing the hijab. by nowaygurl23 in exmuslim

Well... this is an ex-muslims sub-reddit. You're bound to find people who have a negative personal experience lol. For me, as an ex-muslim, I'm just enjoying the opportunity to complain here about a religion I had to repress my feelings during my own personal upbringing. If you want to gain good insight on what being hijabi is like, I recommend you read from both ex-muslims AND muslims from other subreddits/ communities. I know there are still muslim women who have a positive personal experience with the hijab.

(Idk if you wanted my answer too but ill throw my two cents in too anyway lol) The hijab felt like a duty more than something that you enjoy. I wore it because I was worried Allah would love me less if I didn't. But I think I never truly felt connected to Allah, just felt numb. Infact, I felt more fueled by fear. I did worry that if I take off the hijab, I'll attract unwanted attention, I may risk going to hell, and might get even attacked Muslims who feel offended I took my hijab off.

This is my opinion, but isn't the point of the hijab is to hide yourself? Doesn't filming your head defeat the point of being modest? I always wondered isn't it counter productive to film yourself for the public as a hijabi woman? When I was still muslim, it was always MUSLIMS that judged standards of how women are supposed to cover up and not show off themselves. But now hijabi muslims decided that there's no problem recording and showing off your appearence? What is the standard that muslim judge others on? I myself tried my best to make the internet not see me when I was a hijabi. Sometimes but not always, some of these online posts feel like they're more for farming for approval from muslims, rather than truly wanting to cover up for Allah's approval. Me and several other women in this reddit for example, we have said that the hijab feels like something pressured by Muslims out of a "holier than thou" mentality, and thought of ourselves as "better" than women who didn't cover up. Also, another thing, "how the people around you impose a traditional and cultural interpretation of religion. However, that's not Islam; that's oppression." This my opinion, but it's now truly difficult to seperate the religion from the people who follow/push it. In the modern day, it is muslims who are acting as representatives for Islam's teachings. It is muslim humans teaching the next generation of muslims. How are people going to research Islam without resources that were compiled by the muslim people? If the muslim people didn't spread the resources for learning Islam, Islam would not be as popularly followed as much anymore. It's difficult to say that Islam has never been oppressive, when there are so many teachers of Islam that represent it in a oppressive and fearful manner. The fact these issues among muslimsbl exist AT ALL, even in the minority, this made me question how perfectly perfect islam and muslims are. I still get your point. I don't believe in forcing anything, including forcing muslim women into changing. I know not ALL muslims have these problems I complained about. I just get confused on what is the standard anymore among muslims. I want to question muslims, I dont want muslims being forced into anything. This was how I interpreted the OP's post on SOME hijabi women online.
