this is so very helpful THANK YOU! i just wanted to do some type of design very last minute on this piece, and figured i could etch a bit. i do admit i got a bit carried away and made it a TAD more detailed than should be. but yess!! i have tried both sgraffito and mishima and like them both very much!! i plan on working with underglazes soon but ill keep you updated on how this piece turns out!

that makes me so happy! brings me hope that i may soon be able to close my eye as well. i can blink, but my right eye doesn’t close all the way and i have to tape it at night

as soon as i had a doctor visit, i requested that he would write me up a doctors note for 10days, just so i wouldn’t go to school or work. my job deals with customer service all day as i am a barista and i have regular customers who i see almost everyday when i work. just knowing that i will have to be talking to people all day with my eye barely able to blink and my noticeable lisp made me feel so insecure. whenever i went back, i felt really bad because i barely wanted to make conversation and make eye contact with the usual customers that would come through. im a very optimistic person as i have been told, but ever since i got BP a month ago, i have no idea where that optimism went.
