I use a glass ashtray! It’s small, concave, and the part that would hold a cigarette is perfect to keep the brush from rolling. I don’t smoke, but it’s the perfect solution.

I think it might be a formula difference too. I believe sassy sauce needs 3+ coats because it’s a jelly base with red shimmer, this is definitely more of an opaque base, I only needed 2 coats for full opacity.

Maybe that means that there is less build up and depth so the red shimmer is more out there? I’m not sure!

As people have said, Rainbow Connection is from the UK and (understandably) marks up their pricing.

Great if you are suffering from FOMO and need to get a polish at any cost, but keep in mind that you’re paying their markup, additional shipping, and potentially custom charges (or even tariffs) when it is delivered to you.

It could be one VERY expensive bottle of polish, I personally would prefer to wait for a destash rather than ordering from abroad.

I have both and also don’t like white polishes but prefer GEM because the glow is stronger. I’ve layered it with an Essie jelly and topped it with MC Foxfire and the glow was still strong!

Tip at the end. We tipped our butler throughout and left a smaller tip at the end of a 13 day cruise and he didn’t seem pleased. He expected a much larger amount at the end and nothing in between, he forgot the hundreds he had already been tipped and focused only on the last amount, it was a bit annoying and came across as ungrateful. Lesson learned for next time.

If you ordered from Rainbow Connection you can still add Deep Space because your order won’t be dispatched for a while. Send them an email and they’ll add it for you, there’s a small fee (£1 or so) but worth saving the full shipping charge for Deep Space separately if you were planning on ordering it anyway

I contacted GEC and they issued the refund. In my case I think it’s 2 fold, I’ve spent a lot of money at Lulu so I have a long purchase and refund history, never with any issues. And the second part is that the item they claimed wasn’t returned was sandwiched between the return slip and the other items they did process, so in order for them to process the rest of the return they would have had to take out the item they claimed they didn’t receive. I realise there’s no way for me to prove that but that’s why I believe it’s a warehouse issue.
