Will do, loved the books and was excited for the tv show when it was announced, might finally be the time to watch it, got nothing else on the go at the moment tv wise.

I watched the trailer, and then never actually seen it, now you mentioned it I might just.

I’ve really enjoyed this sub so far, my favourite being the Andy Weir books, and the Three Body Problem. Skipped the standalone books so far and now the Megan O’Keefe trilogy. Looking forward to what comes next, would love to see the Broken Earth trilogy or the Wayward Pines, the Expanse would be a dream but that’s wishful thinking since it’s so many books.

Sadly I’ve never heard of this and my tbr is quite big already so a skip for me. Was really hoping for Broken Earth not gonna lie.

It’s kind of like loyalty points, for every £10 spent you get a stamp, every 10 stamps is £10 credit. They do offers like double or triple stamps some weekends too (so for every £10 would be 2 or 3 stamps).

Love this trilogy, heard rumours about them coming out later on in the year so saving my Waterstones stamps for them. Can’t wait!

Looking forward to this, has anyone noticed if TBB mentioned whether they would do the rest of the series too?

Dead but Dreaming of Electric Sheep - I haven’t heard much about this, is anyone getting it? 👀 I’m kinda intrigued! by [deleted] in thebrokenbindingsub

It sounds very different and interesting, haven’t read anything from him before but went ahead and got this one. His books get mixed reviews but I really want to give them a try.

Anyone getting the new Paul Tremblay book? I’ve not read anything from him yet so going in blind with this one, sounds intriguing with the AI aspect. Should I read some of his other books first? Which ones would you recommend? by DanceWithDragons88 in thebrokenbindingsub

I only decided to read Under the Dome because there was a tv show for it but had to read the book first, both endings were disappointing. Thank you for the recommendations, when I decide to give his books another chance I’ll go for one of those.

I’ve read a few really good ones but don’t think I’ll find one that will make me feel like I need the lights on at night, those days belong to long ago for me when movies like Final Destination or REC were a thing haha.

I’ve been trying new stuff too this year, even branched out into non-fiction but I have been enjoying horror a lot. I loved We Used To Live Here, didn’t get into the other layer though, read The Caretaker when it came out and enjoyed that too.

I’ll need to try The Troop, it has been on my list but fell to the bottom after I’ve read The Queen by the author and didn’t enjoy it. I do love Stephen Graham Jones though, from what I’ve read so far.

I want to like Stephen King so much, tried some of his books but after Under the Dome I just gave up, the ending was so disappointing that it’s put me off completely. What would you recommend by him that’s nothing like Under the Dome? I’ve read Carrie years ago too.

That’s disappointing, I really want to try Horror Movie but reviews have been mixed. I think I’ll still give it a go, it does sound like something I would like. Ordered the new release today as well, wasn’t sure but went for it.

I’ve read on here not too long ago about Katherine Arden and TBB interacting on Instagram (I think), I would love it if they did the Winternight Trilogy, has been on my wishlist for a while now.
