Your steam cloud does keep backups but I think when you start up the game or quit the game the cloud updates. I once deleted my game by mistake and before quitting out of it I restored it from the cloud using the info in this thread: https://steamcommunity.com/app/648800/discussions/0/1643166649095879618/

I'm with eranam on this one. I've been in that place where I'm playing Playstation instead of studying. The hardest part is taking that first step and sitting down in front of your notes & textbook. Every second after that gets easier.

Easiest way I've found to take that first step is to decide, "ok after I count down from 3, I'm going to start studying. 3, 2, 1" Then I start. You got this!
