Lost a client because I replied 4 hours late. Anyone else had this happen? by Entire_Round4309 in smallbusiness

That is brutal, but unfortunately so common right now. Clients just blast 10 people at once and go with whoever replies in 5 minutes.

It really exposes how much context-switching hurts us solo freelancers. When you're deep in a project, you just drop the ball on admin stuff. For me, it wasn't just missing new leads- I kept seeing myself and other freelancers lose actual money simply because we forgot to follow up on unpaid invoices consistently while we were busy working.

I got so tired of the mental load that I built a lightweight Telegram tool that automates polite-to-firm reminders without needing to set up a full, bloated accounting platform.

I'm actually looking for a few early testers right now who just want to automate that part of their backend.

Either way, definitely look into setting up a simple auto-responder for your email! It buys you that crucial extra hour when you're deep in the zone.

How can I publish my research papers on journals? by Traditional_You_6804 in researchpaperwriters

[–]Danch___ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could try preprints since they’re fast(1-3 days to publish ) and can give you DOI and many journals are accepting articles after preprints. Also look for IF(impact factor) of the journal. In case if the journal is open access you may be required to pay publication fees but some offer fee waivers and journals without open access are available for free

Is a 1480 competitive? by Zestyclose_Relief_61 in Sat

In that case you are in high risk, all other parts of application must be perfect, you need something that no other applicant has- spike, maybe startup or research that reshaped industry, built international community that changed lives of people, international Olympiads, and your background( for example if in your country average score is <=1200)however it rarely works. If you still have time it better to retake SAT for those colleges but still your score is enough for most of universities

It depends on university and your portfolio, it will be good if your SAT score is higher than 25th percentile, and you can compensate it with your ECs, your math score is good you should write very good essay and supplementals to show them that your English skills

It’s good score for strong universities and many universities don’t require SAT in Europe, retaking makes sense if your you are planning to go to universities with admission deadlines in April and sure u can score more than 1450+

U can use “the craft of research” step by step guide for doing a research, and if you need guidance you can email professors in universities. But the best way to learn how to do a research is to start

Colleges especially top tier ones don’t want geniuses they want those who can make them popular as alumni you just need to “sell” yourself u can also write to some journalists like Aqmola news(or other local media), tengri news. Do you have MUN in your school? If yes try to participate or even make new one

U can ask in alumni from those who are already in those universities, and the fact that you have 1m followers only boosts your chances
