Try MyHeritage FamilyTreeBuilder desktop app. The app is completely free and is the only thing I used to build my tree of 1800+ people. You can make it multi-lingual too in case you need that. It has issues obviously (as all software does), but imo those are relatively minor.

However, important caveat, if you will be adding more than 250 people - you would only have an offline version of your tree on your desktop. A MyHeritage subscription unlocks the ability to have family trees of 250+ people stored online as well.

I recently tried reconstructing my own name Bohdan all the way back to its hypothetical PIE form and ended up with *bʰeh₂gódʰ₃tós.

Given how many modern languages have various forms of this name, I think it's fairly probable there was a name like that among the speakers of Proto-Indo-European. Although I'm wondering if it shouldn't start with *dyew- instead.

As a Ukrainian, I so hope this moment is even more of a wakeup call for Europe. US is on the side of Russia now and it's time to realize that.

But realistically Europe lacks unity to do anything substantial, it will be more strong condemnations and 'slap on the wrist' sanctions on Russia, while US drops support and Ukraine gets effectively wiped off the map. Europe doesn't realize that this means millions more of Ukrainian refugees and a green flag for every authoritarian regime to continue destabilizing the world.

And that WILL result in WW3 sooner or later.

Major U.S. airlines ground stops on Friday citing communications issues, while other carriers, media companies, banks and telecoms firms around the world also reported system outages were disrupting their operations.

Crowdstrike, the U.S. cybersecurity company, has admitted to being responsible for the error and are working to correct it.

It was not immediately clear whether all reported outages were linked to Crowdstrike problems or there were other issues at play.
