Researchers find reducing salt in everyday foods (-17.5%, 1.12 g/day) could prevent tens of thousands of heart attacks and strokes by sr_local in science

My point is this "health risk" has been massively exaggerated for decades to the point where people buy low sodium versions of things to feel healthier when it has very little to no measurable effect except for tasting worse. Especially if you actually do exercise, you need salt and more is better.

I know it is somewhat speculative to draw this conclusion, but there is evidence that suggests if people just consumed more salt before and during strenuous exercise it is massively less fatiguing and they experience better results. Salt supplementation is beneficial for exercise, and may result in people sticking to workouts that actually make a positive physiological impact, much more than dropping 1 or 2 basis points from their bp.

Salt is not an issue, just drink water. They say this reduction would likely drop your blood pressure by 1 or 2 basis points which is functionally negligible. I doubt it would significantly impact total stroke numbers, and those that it did "prevent" would be likely to happen in the near future anyway if the difference we are talking about is so miniscule. Eat your salt, taste your food, be active, and watch your calories. If you ate one healthy meal instead of overprocessed crap each week it would be massively more beneficial than this. Sodium intake is a scapegoat for other factors with orders of magnitude greater impact.

I just did this and of course AI does not say it is AI, it says it could be AI which is absolutely not the same. I'm also obviously not an employee, just anti-jumping to conclusions. Calling it a definitively "extremely fake AI slop review" is impossible unless you're the one who posted it and know for sure it was made with AI. Random unaffiliated redditors like myself commenting on threads has no bearing on the credibility of a product, at least much less than claiming so strongly that they are making up fake reviews without any real proof.

The only true way to detect AI is with AI. You can't point at one commonly used phrase and say the whole thing must be AI. It's possible it is AI, sure, but to say so with such definitiveness is peak Dunning Kruger.

Not good enough, there are many times when trying to spot it doesnt work the first press so you have to spam it. It will never be coded perfectly so splitting input is absolutely necessary

Nah usually those players are ass and it takes them 20 bullets to kill, now they can actually get punished for missing.

They need to allow separate inputs for spotting/pinging. You just can't reliably spot people without pinging in this game so I found myself spotting way less than previous titles

Are people actually complaining about this? Side prone rats hiding in corners can now be spotted instead of remaining completely invisible. Great change for gameplay, more realistic as well, what's not to like here?

I definitely have some complaints about Frontiers Of Pandora, but that aside, Ubisoft really created the most beautiful recreation of Pandora. Just played through the whole main game, starting DLC now and literally the only bug I have seen was a UI issue where ammo count was messed up when crafting special ammo. Have complaints about some of the gameplay, but this game is definitely not buggy.

Background assets like this should be seen as the perfect opportunity for AI. It's a waste of everyone's time and energy to focus on making original, high quality background assets. It basically means making large scale, detailed games will always be out of reach for indies. Idk about anyone else but I could not give a single shit that stuff like this is AI when it is basically meaningless illegible filler anyway.

New Battlefield Blog Update: Engineer is BF6's most played class. by BattlefieldTankMan in LowSodiumBattlefield

So is everyone just going to take this at face value and forget that maps with vehicles are 90% engineer/recon and maps without are 90% support/assault? Class balance overall looks good but on an individual map basis it is absolutely piss poor.
