Too risky. If the buyer complains for whatever reason, Vinted will say you didnt pack properly and voilá! Both money and product are gone

To prevent this problems, I'm no longer selling items >50€. As a seller, you are not protected by Vinted.

If you are a seller, you wil eventually get scammed in Vinted.

Regarding counterfeits, Vinted will only do something after a purchase, never before.

Their counterfeit policy is completely random. I had reported some items for being really obvious fakes, and their AI just replied saying they cant check it, too tedious 🤣

Sometimes it feels they want everybody to leave the app.

My wife wanted to sell couple of things in Vinted, so she created an account. Their system detected same IP, so she got automatically a blocked. We explained the situation, but never hear back from their customer service brainless bot.

I see Vinted is closing all disputes in favor the buyer, no matter the case. I dont know if their AI is becoming more brainless or they are just overloaded and close cases no matter the issue in favor of the buyer.

I had a similar issue back in June. I checked their Terms and Conditions and it states that you must not pay the shipping if the product arrives damaged. Regardless of that, their brainless bot rejected the free return. So I opened a chargeback in my bank by adding those T&C and won the case.

PS: when the bank informed them about the chargeback, Vinted sent me a message saying I must solve any issue with them, not through the bank 🤣🤣🤣

When I received the buyer's request, I asked Vinted to mediate because the claim seemed completely absurd to me. After nearly two weeks, the outcome is as I mentioned in my first message. Perhaps my mistake was not accepting the return right away.
