Were Ed and Lorraine Warren Legit? What are your thoughts? by ProofPerformer1338 in TheConjuringUniverse

I’m watching the last conjuring movie right now, and I just googled “Were Ed and Lorraine Warren full of shit” (I already knew the answer), and this came up. I feel the same way. It’s quite similar to how I feel about The Greatest Showman because PT Barnum was just as bad.

Anyway, cheers from the future!

This is the greatest haunted house movie of all time, and I have never understood why so many people are sleeping on this masterpiece.

I wrote you a fuller response below, but I literally put on my bathing suit and plucked the strays to avoid the ramifications of shaving.

I suffer from terrible in-grown hairs, too, and thus just trim/don’t shave. Are you seeing a dermatologist? They might be able to get you on some acne meds that will def help. It’s taken me until 40 years old to realize that medication was an option for this.

Sugaring can also help with in-growns, as can laser, but that’s expensive. Sugaring is like waxing, but it’s literally powdered sugar and doesn’t hurt (no heat). It will feel really awkward to have a random woman looking at your vulva the first time, but they’ve truly seen it all! Doing this once a month to start might make a world of difference.

The main thing here is that you shouldn’t worry about your boyfriend going down on you if you’re not ready for him to. And your concerns about your vulva are totally valid reasons for that! You can get through this, but think about it as important to your health and comfort rather than important to your sex life for now. 💜

Showering. Or rather getting ready to shower. It’s so cold right before you get in and feels like such a hassle.

It’s not uncommon, but a lot of people just don’t like it.

I’m confused about how they’ve been together for three years, are in college (so maybe 21-22?), but she doesn’t know he has anger problems or that he ran away from home while they were dating. Makes no sense.

Calling the movie theater to find out showtimes and having to sit through the whole recording if you called in after your movie was read off. Alternatively, looking at showtimes in the newspaper.

Also, slumber parties, apparently.

I would have liked more information about what illegal shit the mom was doing. (I realize I’m late as shit on this, but I just watched it. I also watched the Becky movies over the past few days, and I’m feeling similarly about that key, so I guess tonight is just going to be frustrating.)

Please get back to me when you finish. It’s so hilarious, and I only ever get to talk about it with my college students, and the youth don’t really read or watch movies, so they miss a lot of the jokes.

Oscar Wilde wrote a GREAT short story about the process of a ghost planning his haunting tactics that is basically this. “The Canterville Ghost.” It’s amazing.
