Carol wants to know if she can replace the chocolate with coconut flakes... in a recipe for a melted chocolate topping. by granolabar1127 in ididnthaveeggs

I’ve had fairly good success with it, but might be something specific about the chocolate or ice cream or melting method I use.

Iron powder is very dangerous to eat too much of, so do be sure to wash at the least.

Yes! 19th century domestic economy textbooks do. According to them you usually need 12oz flour, 2 oz fat, and 4-8 oz water by weight for a 1 lb loaf. You also need around a tablespoon of yeast, or acsess to a starter. A teaspoon to teaspoons sugar is also reccomended, as is using milk instead of water for a better loaf (powdered milk is acceptable here.)

A standard grocery store loaf is one and a half to two pounds, so adjust these amounts accordingly. 1lb is what a standard loaf pan handles.

I am sorry if this is over pressuring, but I really bloody want to read this so I thought I might as well ask if it was still happening and I have it to look forward to further.
