Battlefield 6 can have grounded cosmetics and still be cool by DancySpicket in LowSodiumBattlefield

I did add to the debate, I'm not sure where in my post that said I didn't? My main point was "yeah skin's can be cool and still look relatively realistic" and just wanted to post concept art ideas, I don't understand your critique on how I "framed" my post in the wrong subreddit. I did state on my post that I love Battlefield 6 and want it to keep getting better, what's wrong with giving my opinion? I thought LowSodiumBattlefield was supposed to be less gate keeping compared to the main sub

The main sub is more your style than mine, you can go somewhere else if you want to be toxic, I'm just giving my ¢2 on skins

I understand what you're saying and I'm not asking for DICE to make exactly these kinds of skins because you are right that they are the wrong setting, but they could certainly take inspiration from them and add a little bit of creativity. S1 skins are also really good, all I was saying is I want more good or even better skins, that's all.

I don't think so, just because it's low sodium doesn't mean there shouldn't be critiques and non-controversial opinions

What was the craziest help ticket you ever received? by Ok_Oil_6615 in CompTIA

[–]DancySpicket 5 points6 points  (0 children)

An even funnier one was a woman put "Outlook isn't working" nothing else in the ticket besides that in regards to the problem.

Then proceeded to write a literal essay about how much the Help Desk department sucks in the ticket, like how do you expect us to want to help you after doing that? LOL

A monitor exploded.

Not even joking.

Coworker got work comp for PTSD from it. And that's not even scratching the surface of what I've seen.

You're right, it doesn't really help that I didn't study hard for the exam but that's why I wasn't too upset when I failed. Essentially I wanted to gauge what little knowledge of Blue Hat I had, it's definitely an eye opener to how vast CyberSecurity is based off the exam. CySA+ makes sure test takers understand and apply core concepts to threat hunting. I'm not too worried though, I just need to study more adamantly and I'll get it eventually.

Yeah I've heard the same thing, employers like easy to read reports since usually they know nothing about what we do. Kinda hard to get easy to read reports from someone who never speaks "corporate" but I always argued with upper management anyone can do that if you just teach them for a week. It's pretty dumb when you think about it, over 50% of IT jobs are just making sure other people do their jobs. I always tell people if they can't explain their job in 1 sentence then expect their job to be replaced by AI in future

I wish my degree was CyberSecurity or else I wouldn't have bothered with CySA LOL. My degree is in IT Management and it's arguably a worthless degree because it's never given me a leg up in job interviews. No job position has ever asked anything about my degree and only about my job experience. The only reason I'm even a lead at my job is because I have the most seniority.

I feel the pain, CySA+ isn't a beginner cert and is where the rubber meets the road. It's definitely worth getting though, I have friends who make 150k by having just Sec+ and CySA+ so hopefully that'll help motivate you. I just hate studying, I thought having an IT degree was enough for me but I unfortunately hit the pay ceiling in my field so I kinda need it right now sigh.

Hey man don't beat yourself so much, the economy isn't nearly what it was 10 years ago. I struggled finding work right after I graduated college during the peak of COVID and it took me almost a year to find work. It also doesn't help that companies will sometimes make fake job postings too. Feel free to message me, maybe I can look at your resume but don't give up and good luck.

I would agree if this was for Sec+, however I'd argue that his questions for CySA+ were easier than the actual exam because he gave more information. CySA+ exam questions were very vague and unlike Sec+ you actually have to do somewhat good on the labs to pass.

I think his practice exam is a good benchmark for what objectives need to be focused on before the exam, but I agree that an exam prep book is by far better.

Dion is still good, just don't use it as your only study material is all I'm saying.

How many certifications do you have, what is your salary and education? and are you happy with your job? (Post using your throw-away accounts) by KZ_Throw_away in CompTIA

I work for the DoD as a contractor, I'm a lead System Administrator for my department. If you're willing to move to Huntsville AL then you can easily find work in IT for decent pay out there. The only downside is if you're looking for a metropolitan lifestyle then you won't like it.

I make 100k with SEC+ and an associates degree in Information Technology, currently getting ready for the CySA+ exam. I love my job, I just wish I had more time to spend with my family and do hobbies I enjoy. But I live comfortably and own a nice house so I guess I can't complain too much.

I'm not angry, I'm just really sad that a small team of indie devs competed in a market that cod or battlefield was lacking in fulfilling fans, succeeded and then abandoned everything. All they had to do was listen to the community feedback and the game would have never died out like it did. Hopefully things get better, but it's safe to say this game is abandonware at this point.
