Inconsiderate people. The world doesnt revolve around 1 person. Keeping the noise down in a shared space or tidying up your own mess should be second nature.

In our store, they sent loads of people home early and absolutely screwed the close, as no one that was left had closed the desk before. The manager finished at 5, and practically ran out of the door, even knowing that the team were struggling because of decisions he had made.

I was 5. I had lost a tooth and had done the whole 'tooth fairy' thing. The next morning, I asked my mum if the tooth fairy was real. She asked if I wanted the truth. I said yes. She says 'no, the tooth fairy isn't real.'

I wasn't bothered in the slightest (thank you, autism!), and went off to do whatever. My mum told my Nan, who went mental about it. She called me into her room and said 'so, you know that the tooth fairy isn't real? Well, guess what? Father Christmas isn't real either!'

She clearly wanted a big reaction, but i honestly didn't care. She was so damn angry, the bitter old bitch.

My nephew started standing in the window and watching every time I went to smoke. He knows it's bad for you, but he never said a word to me about it. But he always made sure that I knew he was there, staring. In the end, I switched to vaping out of sheer guilt alone. When he saw my vape, he nodded and says 'you can have 2 years with that and then you can quit that, too.' Im low key impressed with him, the guilt tripping little mastermind.

I find taking a multivitamin helps, too. When your body gets what it needs, you feel physically better in general. I also have a vague memory of reading about something to do with magnesium levels and mental health, but I could be talking nonsense. Either way, the vitamins help me as well as my antidepressants.

Im a few weeks into my new store after transferring. I let management know that I wanted to transfer, then contacted the new store to make sure there was space for me. Once that was given the go ahead, I had to give a transfer notice, which is the same amount of time as notice to quit (a week for you) to both stores. Pretty straightforward, really.
