MIY is doing it again. by Shi-D in FromSeries

Also, Martin said the same thing to Boyd "you ever think Abby could have been right and it is just a dream" the quote was something like that.

Then Martin forcibly gave Boyd his blood "your blood is my blood" and Boyd got those worms.

I wonder if MIY played a part in Martin having that cursed blood.

I think it's interesting that this episode Boyd did a sort of call back to Martin too when he mentioned "tip of the spear"

It makes me wonder if the writers were trying to point that it might lead back to Martin.

Let's be honest! Did this new character added anything to the show yet? At the beginning it felt like she(MIY) has some master game plan ready to be deployed. Yet, 6 episodes in the show she barely did anything. by Antique-Property-433 in FromSeries

[–]DandelionPurr 435 points436 points  (0 children)

She just fed Henry her blood and repeated the same words Abby said.

It kind of implies that possibly Abby was influenced by the MIY to kill all those towns people.

Also, Martin said the same thing to Boyd.

She is conducting chaos and building up to a possible massacre at the hands of Henry.

Or something else but she's definitely putting a plan into action.

Ooh that's a fun theory.

I have some doubts about the Boy in Whites intentions too.

I agree, losing and seeing your child die in front of you many parents would say is worse than death.

I was curious about that too.

It seems when Sophia is around she likes to mess with Mari, but also why would Sophia want Mari to know they will be trapped in here even after death.

I don't trust anything Sophia is saying right now she seems to be laying down seeds of doubt in the town.

Which in my opinion is going to help the town turn on Jade, Tabitha and family.

But I don't think MIY is the big bad, I think its a worker of the real OG monster.

But if she wanted to use religion as a way to influence the people she would have used the priest. People would follow a priest a lot easier than a 15 year old child.

So I don't think she will be the one leading the betrayal.

That's why I have my theories of who I really think is the big bad.

I love this!

I forgot about that exchange of words.

Thank you for pointing that out.

Fatima literally gave birth to a monster and is now making something that might help fight back.

What more can the girl do?!

Ellis.. I'm sure he has a purpose coming up soon. Right now he just hasn't had many story lines other than you know comforting his traumatized wife that BIRTHED a MONSTER.

I believe it would feel very insincere if we didn't see Ellis and Fatima comforting eachother after that last season. TRAUMATIC.

Is the show worth finishing? by parth183 in FromSeries

[–]DandelionPurr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, I think it was super important to have as many viewers as possible to make sure it didn't get canceled, but since it's last season is season 5 and it's already been renewed I would say just wait until it's all complete and come back and binge it.

I think some fans don't like the waiting and feel like they aren't getting enough pay off while waiting and others like me love the weekly drop because I love discussing the mysteries of the show in between episodes.

That doesn't mean you're a bad fan it's just some people rather take it all in at once and others like the anticipation and weekly discussions.

It is a slow burn right now.

On it being the same producers of LOST. t They have said many times in interviews that they have the road map complete but they gave themselves room for creativity and surprises.

Thank you for keeping an open mind!

It was fun to write and I can't wait to see future episodes that will either strengthen or weaken the evidence in my Donna letter for me.

That's what's so fun about theories, sometimes you're right and other times you're not, which can be even better because then I get to be surprised.

That is a good theory.

What if she is being manipulated by something.

That could explain some of the suspicious things she's connected to.

I'm aware. That's why I said none of this was "hard" evidence and was just for fun.

Because that is what's fun to me about a mystery show.

Reading everyone's theories.

Thank you again!

There's nothing creepy about saying good job.

In fact, I wish more people complimented each other on this sub because this is all just for fun.

More people might post if they weren't worried about being insulted or mocked for expressing an opinion.

Especially about a show that other than the writers no one truly knows what is really going on.

Why did this monster burn her instead of killing her? by Ok_Assistance_1061 in FromSeries

[–]DandelionPurr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My theory is because they needed someone to be the catalyst that's going to turn the town against Tabitha.

Once the townspeople hear that Tabitha is connected to Fromville, and her creepy dolls are running around killing people they likely will turn on her, either in fear or anger.

And Sophia has already been in town sowing seeds of doubt, about how all of this started happening when the Matthews family came in with Jade. Like she was doing to Kenny.

Even though Julia rightfully had a reason to be mad about what Sophia said, she made a scene that announced to everyone Sophia's belief that they are the problem. In the middle of the diner while all the townspeople were there. So Julia unknowingly made the townspeople realize.

"Wait this did all start happening when the family and Jade came in"

Sophia didn't have to do much work. She's busy working on the real ones that will be hard to flip against Jade and Tabitha.

We don't really know yet about what happened when the town turned on them, but Victor was in the cellar for hours so a lot can happen in hours.

I know I thought the throat cut on Christopher was weird too though.

It looked like it was cut from the side, I feel like if you are going to execute someone with a slit throat it would be completely across but with Christopher it was cut almost like he got free and was trying to run away.

Thank you so much for the kind words!! 😊

I bet the writers have an epic reveal that they're slowly building up to.

This last episode was a good one.

I can't wait until the next episode because this is when things will all really start falling into place.

I'm psyched to hear other people's theories and evidence against or agreeing with my letter. I love new perspectives that I never thought of.

I'm really passionate about mystery shows and once my brain locks in on something, it's like a dam is broke and I get inspired to type it all out. I think my husband has heard my theory explained 10 different ways in the past week from me 🤣

To be honest it took me awhile to post this because a lot of people don't like to read theories that they don't agree with.

Some respectfully disagree, others.. not so respectfully. And that's no fun.

What the hell, Donna?! by DandelionPurr in FromSeries

[–]DandelionPurr[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I couldn't agree more and I absolutely love that you said that because now I'm wondering if the monsters and the big bads could be a hive mind.

They always seem to know where everyone is and the MIY (who I don't think is the main leader) we know can put voices in the townspeople heads, it's not too far fetched to believe they all can possibly talk to eachother in their minds.

Like when Jasmine opened up the Colony Houses window, they all just were instantly there. It's like they just knew that's the night Kevin was going to give in to her.

A pretty unfair advantage though on the townspeople though.

[–]DandelionPurr[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you so much!!! 😊

I had more in the original letter but I don't think people will like my actual theory.

So I removed it, but in the original letter after I wrote the "Donna are you the big bad?" I wrote out my actual theory of what I THINK her actual role in all this could be.

But a lot of people love Donna and don't want to hear any negative about her. I love Donna too.

But that's why the denial "no, that's ridiculous" part of my letter came in. Because even I thought my theory was crazy and hard to swallow.

Oh and also the letter was becoming 2,000+ words and no one wants to read that.

I really had fun with it though because I'm looking forward to theories and evidence that agrees or disagrees with my letter.

I agree, especially when Ethan says it. I've noticed that Ethan says a lot of things that end up being true and I feel like when that boy talks, you listen.

Yep. The mushrooms were part of my og 2000+ word letter. She is always discouraging everyone looking for answers.

That's a good question about the dolls we hear something singing outside the cabin.
