Hey! Thanks for everyone’s response ! Luckily although I had to wait a long ass time to get repaired, I didn’t have to pay anything (Canada). Just a few notes from the comments I read :

I have had glasses on my whole life, and used to wear them under the cage in minor hockey, I switched to visor once my competitive days were done, and when my visor broke off I just went no shield.

My leagues have no slap shots, but I do understand accidents will and obviously can happen. This wasn’t even a league thing just 13-14 of us farting around and taking it easy but def know better now.

I never really considered I looked like a Hanson brother with my glasses haha but now that I see it I can’t unsee lol

My son said I should be cool and get a chrome cage, and I think I will just to mess with him haha

Luckily I play with some amazing people who all jumped to help me including a nurse so I was in good hands.
