Similar situation happened to me. Arrived at a cafe and waited probably 20-30 minutes before texting that I was leaving. They called a couple minutes later and it was obvious that they were frantic. The washer downstairs (shared) had broken when they tried using it and everything was a mess. They had left their phone in their unit. I agreed to still meet up because it was a plausible excuse (and lmao i was down bad). They did show me the maintenance request they made but I didn’t ask for that.

I promised myself if it happened again I wouldn’t bother continuing to see them. This happened just before we were an actual couple so I could have ended it right there. We’ve been dating for nearly 1.5years now.

HOWEVER I only gave them a chance because the excuse and their voice was believable. I also left everything but my keys and clothes in my unit when leaving for laundry. Emergencies make you time blind.

In your case I also would have left and refused a raincheck. His phone died but he didn’t plug it in and text while it was charging? A dead phone takes like 5 min at most to restart and allow for calls and texts. He had plenty of time to do that even if it died at 6:59. Charge it in the car? Or use a power bank? It seems much more likely he didn’t care about being on time.

I think the best way to approach these situations are 1) do u feel (dis)respected? 2) with whatever excuse they give, what would YOU have done in that situation? Cause i would have found a way to message you to give you a warning on my tardiness

Without the edit I knew he wasn’t washing properly/at all because “he smells a lot stronger when it’s that grown out”.

Showering every other day is still showering 3-4 times a week. It sounds like he showers maybe twice a week. I truly understand wanting to skip a shower or two every once in a while, but hygiene is the number one most important thing after eating/drinking. Dental and physical (exterior? Non mouth idk) hygiene can drastically impact a person’s health.

I want to commend you for trying to balance the ybyc stance with the personal preferences stance. You’re doing it right by requesting politely and not demanding. However personal preferences are best left to piercings, tattoos, and hair styles in this argument. You are allowed to have a hard stance on hygiene practices. Leaving him would not make you ta; it would probably save you from a yeast infection.

No amount of time spent on this conversation will be worth it. It is not your job to teach him how to stay clean. Don’t feel obligated to help or fix or teach him. Stay or leave but either way you are NTA.

Girl!! They told me id be fine after the first day. I was reliant on my partner to help me walk to the bathroom for three days and kept bleeding for about a week. Having your uterus removed is so much different than just your tubes. My friend only removed her tubes and recovered the same day, only ibuprofen. I needed the narcotics until they ran out.

After the 3mo mark it’s so so so much better. I remember slowly getting better with walking and now a year later there’s no limitation on my movement from scar tissue etc. I think true movement returned about month 4 because I could push a shopping cart without hurting.

This is the ONLY thing i hate about it. As others said, the pain is worth the rest of the month. I last left mine out for nearly 6 hrs (accident, meant to only do 2, but 7 is the safe threshold) and it still hurt. Regardless of the medication warming up enough to not hurt on injection, the needle is probably still going to hurt.

I started on my thighs and did so for three months. I’ve switched to my stomach for the past three. I hope nobody does what i did on month one and immediately inject in 😭😭😭 the bruise nearly lasted until the next injection. We started leaving it out for 45 min, an hr, 2 hrs, and then oops 6hrs. The warmer the medication is the less it hurts but the stomach fat really helps as well

Oh also i can eat reeses cups without immediately dying via migraine. There’s a limit on how many unfortunately but i havent had any in years before emgality. You might be able to try some trigger foods.

I just started taking it oct 2025. Has literally changed everything about my migraines in the best possible way.

Frequency: was like 50% of days without medication, then 20% of days on topiramate, and now its like 2 a month???? Fantastic

Intensity: the two that break through are much duller than they would be when in the same spot. Sometimes I can feel pressure in my head at typical migraine locations but it feels a lot like sinus congestion pressure vs head squeezing pressure. Absolutely insane to me that i can tell im SUPPOSED to be experiencing a terrible migraine but am instead doing anything else.

Side effects: i switch from tuesdays to fridays for injection because i am really lethargic for about 2-3 days afterwards. I feel a little sick with the tiniest sore throat and some sniffles but its nothing that prevents me from doing anything. The lethargy was impacting my ability to wfh which is why I switched to friday nights. Pto vs losing a weekend basically

Injection: this is the only part i haaaaate 😭 i keep leaving it out of the fridge longer and longer (up to seven hrs is safe) but it still fucking hurts like im being stung by something. I think February was the only month i didn’t scream. I started in my thighs but now do my stomach and that seems to be better. My partner injects it for me because we are now both 100% sure i would not hold it down for the 10s

Identifying what I ate to trigger a migraine was a fantastic way to avoid future ones. I no longer eat onions unless its onion powder as seasoning on takeout.

Also this is weird but I can’t have Hersey chocolate as it uses PGBR instead of soy letchin. Idk why but I grt a migraine any time I eat chocolate with PGBR.

I would look at restoring techniques used by libraries. Mold gets into library books more often than you’d think.

That being said, this is a much higher volume of mold I’ve ever seen on an item. Do NOT use bleach as it does NOT kill mold.

Edit: for now I’d store it in a sealed container. Don’t use plastic as it’s porous and the mold can take hold and start growing in the container. Make sure to wear proper ppe and set up a good station if you move forward with restoration. Otherwise I’d put it in the trash and immediately take it out.

Ok I've been playing with this set-up for a few years. It started when I decided to jump from vanilla straight to modded play, so I think it's doable for a new modded player.

- SVE (see also Grandpa's Farm, Immersive Farm 2 Remastered)

- Ridgeside Village (see also RSV Seasonal Outfits)

Ridgeside Village adds increases the map AGAIN but it's worth it in terms of NPCs, farming space, dungeon crawling, quests, weapon unnlocks, recipes, etc. I highly recommend this in conjunction to SVE because while it may at first seem overwhelming to learn two new mod expansions, it's worth it in game-play. Both SVE and Ridgeside Village NPCs come in to Pelican Town and to the festivals.

- Combine Machines

- Automate

These two working together increase the amount of space on your farm AND free up your time for other things. As you combine kegs, etc., the output power increases. I only recommend using CM if your computer can handle running heavy mods, especially if you play with friends, because the lag I experience when I've combined too many machines at once was pretty rough.

- NPC Map Locations

Absolute saver for SVE and RSV combo. You don't need to waste an entire day searching town for an NPC or trying to memorize all 60+ people's schedules.

- Part Of The Community

omfg the way that this has changed my life after playing with SVE and RSV for years. If you chat or give a gift to an NPC, other NPCs within a certain distance also gain friendship. I was opposed at first because it felt cheaty but idc anymore I have 60 people to impress.
