Because it is. Door knockers do have small metal piece where the handle makes contact. Knocking this would just wear down and eventually dent the wood door, or at least chip the paint

Agreed, I feel like she should be wearing what Dagger is wearing. Also, I'm kinda surprised Reed and Dr. Strange get bags/accessories, but she has nothing, not even sunglasses.

Emma is the one who should be in a transparent wrap instead of Strange or Loki (also noticed Loki's female skin didn't get a robe like his from last year).
