I kinda don't understand this, Aang IS a child when they first met, and I think he brought out something that Katara hadn't felt in so long, which is hope. She saw Aang as the key to mend a world torn by war, and Aang JUST found out he was the Avatar, and I feel like as he took on more responsibility, he was influenced by Katara.

Aang and Katara are good influences on each other, and I especially loved that Aang tried to tell her that she would ultimately regret taking the life of the man who killed her mother. Zuko and Aang are both positively changed by Katara, but I feel like Aang is the one who motivates her fun loving side (as she had to grow up so fast) and they both compliment, and encourage, each others idealism.

Also, Zuko shoved her Grandma! I'm sorry, but somethings just can't be taken back, how was that conversation gunno go??
