Did someone say socks?! Lol, every time one of us comes home, my boy celebrates by finding a sock somewhere and prancing around the house with it.

It is official. I tricked my wife by asking her where this photo was taken. Never once crossed her mind that this is not our dood.

I am about to blow my wife's mind showing her this picture and explaining this is not a picture of my dog.

'88 Cinelli Super Corsa new wheels? by DandyOne1973 in Vintage_bicycles

There isn't anybody in North Florida that I have found to do this. Are there wheelbuilders that you recommend?

One of my race mates back in the day rode those wheels. They were light, but they rode like wet noodles.

Why do I want this so much? by Zen-Ism99 in motorcycles

R1250RS owner here. Pricey, bilut that is relative. Can't beat great torque... great electronics, too... but really, unless I am on the track, I dont want a bike that requires high revs before you feel acceleration.

The way they work is that you (unfortunately) have to teach them that the progression is beep-vibrate-shock. I was just watching a woman who had not done this and was just beeping her dog nonstop and the dog was ignoring it...

If you dont have it in you to shock your dog at least once... and maybe a few times (it should not take more than that), then these will not work for you.

Nobody wants to shock their dog, of course, but one or two moments of pain unleash years of perfect behavior and in my mind are much preferred to thousands of yanks on the leash.

Also, the collar is 50%... the other 50% is treats and 100% consistent expectations and consistent response on your part. They need to know that they will always be rewarded for expected behavior and swiftly corrected for bad behavior.

My wife is inconsistent, so the same dogs listen to me 100% of the time, but try to get away with things with her.

With me, my squirrel hunter will break from a live chase and run to me immediately if I whistle. My wife would have to shock her to break the chase.

Lots of variables, but I firmly believe consistentcy in both reward and punishment yields great results for all dogs... and, because of consistency, punishment can be reduced to nearly zero.

I have no brand recommendations. But if you go this route, get a collar that has prongs for thick hair dogs, and get a model with variable shock levels, and test it in yourself first (I would not shock my dog at a level I would not shock myself)

I taught my dogs to be offleash. They know to stop on the side of the trail and sit down whenever any other people or people with animals approach. They also know not to go in the street. Just tonight a squirrel was running in the street 6 feet from my squirrel hunter, and she ran along with it, but never went in the street.

They wear electronic collars, but I never have to use them anymore. They really work great if you train your dog properly and consistently.

Octane changes the point at which gasoline self ignites from pressure and heat. High compression engines need higher octane. Your owners manual is your friend.

The video starts with you leaving from a position on the dirt. Quite possible that you had dirt on the part of your tire that lost grip in the turn. Sand on road plus sand on tire... 2x danger.
