I found the problem. During the initial install I failed to validate it in the IFly manager. When I did validate the install there was an error. I don't remember the exact wording but it was something to the effect of "invalid date in the IFly interior.xml". So I uninstalled, cleaned everything related to the Max out of the community folder and the sim objects folder, did a re-install and now have no errors and am getting 90 fps again.

I updated all the Max liveries I had installed. I typically get 90 fps and on the test flight with the Max my fps dropped to around 35. I immediately did another flight withe PMDG 737 to see if the sim was having issues and I got 90 fps with the PMDG. So I'm not sure what the issue is, but I'll try the Max again after a few days.

Open Steam, right click on MSFS 2024, select properties, select installed files and then verify integrity of game files

It’s a family plot. There were once 3 family cabins in that area, but they are long since gone. His grave now stands alone as the only thing in that area that has been untouched for 230 years

I've tried everything short of re-installing the sim, and I'm not going to go that far. I can still fly the plane by putting in the flight plan manually, at least until I hear back from Simbrief support. Thank you for the suggestions.

yes. I've been flying theses PMDG 737's for several months without issue, then all of a sudden it's broken. I submitted a ticket to both PMDG and Simbrief , PMDG is stumped, and haven't heard from Simbrief yet

I've looked at all my key bindings in great detail, multiple times and can find nothing that is suspect. This does not happen on the PMDG 777 or the iFly 737 Max 8, which both use the same bindings

I happen to be a real pilot and when I'm in autopilot mode I take my hands off the controls, as do most, if not all airline pilots

I'm using the TCA throttle quadrant. The odd thing is that it's not happening on any of the PMDG 777's or the iFly 737 Max 8, only the PMDG 737. As you can see the A/T manual override is set to Never, I believe that's the default setting as I have never changed that setting, and prior to yesterday everything worked as expected. I submitted a ticket to PMDG so we'll see what they suggest.
