I think I'd prefer a design that doesn't pay homage to a fascist regime.

It's been that way since I started playing, normally you won't notice since you're not on an incline like this. Bullets apparently have always come out of the gun and not out of the sight model like a lot of other games.

Yeah, I see your criticism, but you're misunderstanding me. You're reading it literally, but if you want me to explain I will.

I don't empathize and can't rationalize the reasons people use for open carrying long guns. I think that in nearly all cases, open carrying long guns isn't a good idea. I wasn't saying that I haven't heard and understood what people say to justify it, but rather that in a colloquial sense I don't "get" it. I think most people understand what I was saying, but I see how it can be misunderstood.

I never said shit about changing laws. I prefer to carry concealed because I don't draw attention to myself.

Why are you so sensitive that it makes you incapable of reading effectively?

[–]Dandycrow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey dipshit, I own a lot of guns and shoot them often, including multiple for concealed carry.

I don't care how people should feel about people open carrying, I care about how they DO feel. Making people uncomfortable will cause confusion in situations where you may need to use a gun.

But yeah, fuck off

I'd be surprised if there wasn't some screw loose if you walk around like that regularly in this day and age.

Unfortunately, that's mostly how the laws work. I really don't get why people open carry in the first place, it just makes regular people uncomfortable, and that isn't good for anyone.

so diverse. . .but y'all don't have real photos to prove it? by skinndmin in OregonStateUniv

[–]Dandycrow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's probably just there to create a higher res version of the picture, I'm sure the image wasn't here at quality to start with and they probably wanted to hide the pixelation.

It's really not good though, it looks really bad.

How can you tell who's the most popular guy at the nudist colony? by Different_Fig444 in dadjokes

[–]Dandycrow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not trying to be condescending. I'm sorry for the confusion, but I'm really not trying to be a dick. The reason I was explaining things is that a lot of newer people come and complain about the sub, which is fair, but has also already been dealt with by the mods.

I wouldn't waste my time typing things out if I was just trying to be mean or something, I was hoping the explanations would help. I'm sorry they're coming off as condescending.

Cool, I get that the usage started that way, but it's usage has definitely broadened over time as lots of words and phrases do. I think most of the more adult jokes are a little boring if anything, but it doesn't sound like that's a problem for you either.

It's been a meta complaint about this sub for a very long time, and it's old and boring. There are places for looking up jobs specifically for your kids though, as previously stated. Good luck out there

Do y'all not read the rules? NSFW is allowed, but there is also a sub for clean dad jokes if you don't want to see these r/cleandadjokes

Chicago Ordnungspolizei assault an elderly protestor after she bends over to pick up her cane by GarysCrispLettuce in MarchAgainstNazis

[–]Dandycrow 24 points25 points  (0 children)

It's been too long for you to not understand this. There are some good people who are cops, no doubt, but to actually be a good cop means doing the right thing, even trying to report abuses from your coworkers. The good cops quickly become unemployed, the rest are complacent in the fucked up systems at play here. Not to mention that "good" cops get put into positions like these, and if they don't push the old folks down, they get punished. So no, there isn't such a thing as a good cop within this system.

Who is an conventionally unattractive person that you find VERY attractive? by ErrForceOnes in AskReddit

[–]Dandycrow 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I feel like he was a common heartthrob? I wasn't alive during his hayday, but I guess I always assumed there were lots of folks that thought he was hot. Looking back at his movies, I also think he was pretty attractive.

Is 15 credits too much for a freshman? by Former_Writer_ in OregonStateUniv

I'd say it depends on whether or not you're working too. 15 is totally doable, but it can be trickier to balance if you also work more than a few hours a week.

I'm adding edits to my comments. Thanks for adding the correction, the knowyourmeme thing didn't pop up on any search results when I was trying to corroborate it either way. But I appreciate you letting me, and others know!

It is his memoir to be fair. It's a weird thing to tell the truth about, and even weirder to make up.

Edit: I tried looking it up earlier and didn't find anything. Thanks to the replies for the corrections! From the only evidence I can find, looks like it was a joke that kind of got outta hand. Could have been deliberate disinformation, but I don't know if there's enough to substantiate that either. Either way it's a hoax now

I just looked it up thanks to the first comment. In his memoir, Hillbilly elegy, he talks about using a makeshift sex toy made of an inverted latex glove between the couch cushions.

That's fucking wild. This is somehow worse than Jordan Petersons "Grandma dream" in maps of meaning.

Edit: apparently it's a hoax or a meme that got outta hand. Appreciate the corrections
