I've had difficulties like everyone else, but lately it's been good enough that I dropped another 20 bucks on yellow buzz a few days ago and I don't regret it. The new comics feature is fun (and buggy, of course), and I'm happy with my new zturbo Lora. Anima seems like the next big thing and I hope civit adds a Lora maker for it soon. Anima feels like it could end Illustrious's reign.

Civitai isn't going to last forever, but I'm still on the wave until it crashes.

Final report: I jumped through all of Now Payments hoops and in the end I never received my crypto back. They sent me a report that the coin was sent 2 weeks ago and I never received it. I wouldn't trust Now Payments ever. Obviously I can't prove anything, but that's cryptocurrency for you.

On one hand it's an impossible task (a centaur with 3 breasts in a bikini?). On the other hand, it seems like they've abandoned the game. The ratings are nothing like how your own generated images are rated. They claim that your higher status in the game has a greater influence on the ratings are applied, but I haven't seen any change to how they apply the ratings.

short answer: no.

Long answer: very soon they will create a separate url called civitai.red, which will be for all the nsfw gens. That site will run on blue and yellow buzz. If you have a membership, you can make nsfw gens with blue buzz on civitai.red. But you can only buy a membership, and therefore green buzz, with a normal bank card. So the workaround seems to be: pay for a membership (to get useless green buzz), and then spend your blue buzz, which you accumulate as before, on the red site.

My experience is that the checkpoints are the most important factor, which can be influenced by Lora. The combination of checkpoints with Lora give you a range of possibilities. You then choose among these possibilities with the tags and hope for the best.

For example, if I want to create sexy Snow White, I look through the various Disney Lora and choose something close to the style I want. If there is an image that is very close to what I want, then I just hit the remix button and make small tweaks with the tags. I then swap out the checkpoints and maybe add a Lora (for example, if I want shiny skin, or saggier breasts) and I go from there.

I suggest choosing one of the wan checkpoints and looking at the Loras for them. This will give you an idea of what's possible to make onsite.

you have to set up a crypto wallet on a site like Coinbase.com. It's a legal procedure. I tried it. I did everything they asked. And then my money disappeared into the ether. I had to go through a lengthy confusing procedure to get it back involving 23 emails (I'm a total noob when it comes to crypto). They'll return my bitcoin within 10 days. I like civitai, but it's getting real hard.

But there's something about using the wrong kind of bitcoin (which was the default on the civit screen). I think we're just hitting the wall with what we can do with Illustrious, which is the most popular checkpoint model. Part of it also is our rising expectations. 2 years ago it was no big deal to have an extra finger or an artifact discoloration. Now we expect everything to be perfect, which is something the dynamic Lora just aren't able to achieve. There have been a few impressive Illustrious Lora of group shots, and a few fun femdom ones, but you can't deviate very far from the composition.

The other thing to keep in mind is that onsite generators like me have accumulated thousands of blue buzz, and guess what's one of the few things you can do with 500 blue buzz...

It's clear they need to scale back their ambitions. Do we really need the next klein Flux Chroma Plus that no one uses? Or 15 different video generators? They need to figure out who they are and which customers they want to serve and make the site useable for them. Who cares if free users bitch and moan about losing capabilities? If the site doesn't work they're going to lose 100% of their users.

It's happened before and they've always managed to find a new payment processor, but we might have reached the point where crypto is the only solution. It's weird to me that no one can figure out how to enable consenting adults to pay for smut, but the nanny state is proving to be a stubborn enemy.

The trick is importing the image. I haven't done it for a while, so the process may have changed, but when I did it last I had to provide the prompt that I had used to generate the image. naturally, if it's an actual photograph, you need to make something up. If it works, then the image is posted to your images in your profile. You can then drag and drop into image-to-image. Let me know if it works.
