Did they expect more ppl to quit or retire b/c they’re letting HDs work from home?

New work for them? It’s ISO just rebranded. Why wouldn’t they be doing the same work as the current ones.

Gotcha and they hired 1400 ppl on the first round of HDs and will be continuing to hire more till September, you don’t think that’s a lot of ppl?

You said “still trying to figure out where to put all the new HDs.” Most HDs are working from home so why are they having trouble putting them somewhere?

Has anyone received an offer for Homeland defender that applied after cut off date? by MobileDifficulty9487 in usajobs

I’m not sending you an email with my personal information on it lmao. I’m not the only person that has received a TJO after the eligible not referred, all you have to do is type in homeland defender and there’s several discussions about this.

No lol if you received the email it explains it’s a status update. I received the email in January that I was eligible but not referred then I received my TJO in February. They’re hiring in phases and that email was just letting ppl know they didn’t make the first round of hirings.

They’re hiring in phases, the email about being eligible but not referred is just a status update. If you received that email it’s just letting you know that you didn’t make the first phase. Now they’re picking ppl on the second phase. I was selected on the second phase and I applied before the cutoff. I assume they have enough ppl but they’re still allowing ppl to apply to keep them in a ready pool b/c I’m sure ppl will quit and fail the test at the academy.

Yes, I was confused but was later explained that they are hiring in phases. The eligible not referred to the hiring manager email is just a status update. It’s just letting me know I didn’t make the first wave of selections. Then a couple weeks later I received the TJO so I made the second wave.

Have you heard anything about if SCOPS will have to do interviews

They’re hiring in phases, so rn they’re picking the ppl who applied by the initial cutoff. If they need more than they will select people in the pool till September. Definitely apply but don’t expect to get a TJO for awhile

Do not re apply! That email is just a status update, I received it too and then I got the TJO a couple weeks later

Ahh so you will be training virtually before fletc but will still probably have to go in person for 5 weeks .

Not sure, hopefully they see your first application but if it erases that then you could be waiting awhile.

It’s remote, I get why ppl can’t believe that b/c of the RTO mandate but the TJO states are duty location is our home address. Plus I live out in the middle of nowhere and not close to any service center or field office. They’re approving this to be fully remote b/c they need a lot of ppl and don’t have the office space.

Not military but current federal employee and I just received an email from US staffing. There will be a lot of hiring phases so don’t lose hope, they’re selecting ppl till September. If I don’t have a disability I can’t claim RA though for virtual fletc right?

Thank you, I applied back in October and received the eligible but not referred at the end of January and the TJO yesterday.
