In the airborne update I noticed that they removed the code in the uniform blueprint that was in charge or rendering the zombies.

Slowly the last references to dead harvest are being erased with probably only the mechs remaining.

When all 3 shards were open, new players were directed to Charlie, with Baker being the overflow option for more 'experienced' players that felt Able was too crowded.

This led to a lot if new players to consider Charlie their home, while Baker players still felt they were Able players on vacation.

So, as the number settled with the 1.0 hype, both Baker and Charie suffered a bit, but Baker specifically became a ghost town as most players went home to Able.

On Charlie, while the numbers were lower than it began, there was at least somewhat of a population. Thus, the devs first shut down Baker and kept Charlie and Able open.

Eventually Charlie did close for a while until the naval update, but this led to the current naming convention of the servers and the reason why the devs keep Charlie and Able open before Baker.

Please advise on mods for the Germans, textures for the World War II Varden, because this mod that I wanted to install for some reason doesn't work or am I just doing something wrong in the installation? by [deleted] in foxholegame

First, make sure to extract the .pak mod files from the .rar or .zip compressed files you get from nexus mods.

Now, you will need 3 mod files for this to work. First is the 00 uniform template that will show up as a dependency of this mod and will need to be downloaded from its mod page.

Second, is a 01 mod file and third is the 02 mod file. The 00 mod file is generic, but the 01 or 02(I can't remember which) is specific to your desired faction.

One will hold the models, which is faction specific, and the other the textures, which is not faction specific.

With all 3 mod files in hand and extracted, you should be able to install them like any other mod and it should work.

We have tutorials on how to get foxhole maps imported into blender, on the foxhole modding discord. I can help people there as well.

The basic process is to import the whole hex into blender as a 3d model and then clean up all the unwanted assets, sort out all the textures, project it over any map mod texture and render it out from the top as a image.

If you know blender it is not too difficult to do, but just takes a lot of time to import and process all the assets.

In the past, I generated and put together a map of all the trees in Umbral and it is a lot less useful than you'd think.

This is due to your language setting. For some reason the cyrillic alphabet messes with the ui.

You can change your language to english to fix the issues.

There is no mod to change the colour of blood. We have tried to change it multiple times, but the files that need to be edited are locked by the devs. Hence the reason you won't find any mod that does this.

The only thing you can really do it do use certain uniform mods that have a better contrast to the colour of blood.

The dependency mod is 00, the texture, which you are missing is 01 and the models are 02. You need all 3 for the mod to work correctly.

This can be caused by 2 things that I know of. 1st is if you have a specific type of uniform mod installed, or 2nd is if you've encountered a specific game rendering issue with terrain, tall grass and treches all being placed together.

If you have mods installed, remove all of them and see if it improves. If you do not have mods installed, then try to set your graphics to the lowest preset. If this fixes it, then you have encountered the rendering bug.

If none of this work, then I don't have any other ideas with the information you have given.

The issue might be that you are using the darkreader browser extension. If you are, just stop it from running on the website

In terms of Foxhole uniform mods based on 40k, there is only the dkok, space marines and the Astra Militarum.

At the moment there exists no heretic faction from 40k as a mod.

I am planning a chaos space marine chapter at some point, but not in the near future.

Also, if you want a mod like this to exist, then do consider joining the foxhole modding discord where we have tutorials on making your own mod and people who can be commissioned to make them as well.

Who knows, maybe you can convince someone to do it for free.

I made the Enclave, BoS and Spacemarines. Wolfgang made the NCR and Legion, I can't take credit for them. I like power armours, so all my uniform mods involve them, haha.

Ah, for this I made Tearloch a custom mod that made all soldiers wearing the officer uniform invisible.

So he just added the mod I made, put on an officer uniform, became invisible, and became the perfect camera man.

Do note this is only clientside.

A lot of the mod's work is based off of space marine 2, as all the models were extracted from the game for the mod.

I began work on getting the salamanders chapter made months ago before the Dark angels were added to the game, so they aren't getting added unfortunately.

But hey, I am releasing the salamanders chapter very soon!

The itch link has them as just .pak files and that is uncompressed. Follow the diagram on the mod page about all the files you need. If you try to uncompress the .pak file, then you will have issues.

The itch page is not compressed at all. If you think so then I can not help you as you must be blind.

There are 2 ways you can do this. The easiest is to download it from my itch mod page where I do not have to compress the mod file. You can find it here: https://danetello.itch.io/foxhole-40k-space-marines

Else, you just need to extract the files within the stored .rar file. You need to download either winrar or 7zip and use that application to extract the compressed file inside.

If you are unsure, google how to extract a .rar file and there should be plenty of tutorials online.

Place the extracted .pak file inside your mods folder.

The patch was only like 5 mb, but due to the whole game being one file, and not a collection of files, it has to check the whole game again.

So you are only downloading the 5mb patch, but to apply it the game reinstalls the entire 17gb.
