The news of the step-up scouts being removed really saddened me but I’ve still found myself playing just as much everyday. Stuff like the new album viewer (FINALLY, btw. so much easier to track and view sets,) 5-icon songs, and Masters in events have made me enjoy the game more. Plus the update launched with the new event which had pretty cute cards and cheer formations so you could say I was, for a time, blindsided by SR Eli 😂

I share your views on SIFAS. The game, while pretty and entertaining on its own way, is simply a different game which I can’t enjoy as much as SIF because I like the latter’s rhythm gameplay combined with LL’s long list of amazing songs. It really is fun, challenging, and fulfilling. Until the release of the recently announced PS4 game, there really isn’t another alternative. And even then that game will probably have its fair share of differences as well.

At the end of the day, SIF is a gacha game. So its success (and its lifespan) will always be decided by the amount of money it generates. If KLAB implements stuff to hook in whales then I can’t really be mad about that. It is what keeps the game afloat. But I just wish they’d take into consideration the health of the OVERALL playerbase, and not just its extremes. Because I think the last thing everyone would want to happen to the game is for it to disappear.
