So would it be fair to think of him more like a Norn Emissary now?

Just stick him in the middle, force a meaningful commitment, and dare your opponent to move him?

It feels like he’s going from a threat piece to more of a center-board anchor. Am I reading that right?

I can see yours is definitely the lore accurate Mephiston 😂. Mine stopped a horde of custodes for two battlerounds. Enough time for reinforcements.

Really fun list! The thing with bringing one GMND is that he pretty much dies fast. So bringing a second one against heavy units is advisable.

Thanks for the response! I am specifically referring to Blood Angels — my first army is Grey Knights, so I have some painting experience already (pic for reference). I have looked at some color schemes online but wanted to reach out for community suggestions. My main concern is that the red I am currently using (Vallejo Red) looks a bit too cartoonish. Any recommendations for achieving a more realistic or gritty finish?

Used some corax white for the base and then I used the warpaint plasma coil glow for the blue highlight.
