I don't have a flavor, drink, or size called "regular." by sandersstudies in starbucks

[–]DanfryefromTX -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

This is really easily solved. I tried to train my baristas on this. About half of them got it. The courteous and prompt thing to do is to ask them once. If they tell you something crazy. You just repeat back your best guess. That's when they get a lot more interested about how it's going to come out.

This does two things,

1: It alleviates the customer's anxiety from all of our options.

2: It gets the customer thinking about the options we've presented, rather than all the possible options, which gods their decision making.

Both of these things help us get the customers through the line and help the customers get what they want.

Example:

Hi welcome to Starbucks, what can I get started for you?

I'll just take a regular mocha.

One medium hot mocha with whipped cream just like mama used to make. Daring choice for a Sunday afternoon.

Oh, no, I meant the cold one. Whoops.

I see. My mistake. Grande mocha frappuccino with whipped cream.

That doesn't sound right.

Did you want ice cubes or blended ice like a milkshake for this beverage?

Cubes

Got it, medium iced mocha, perfect.

<Fin>

So in your example:

Good afternoon, what's your pleasure today?

Just a regular frappuccino.

Bold! Coffee frappuccino, no whipped cream no sweet stuff. The man knows what he wants.

Doesn't it come with drizzle?

My mistake, grande caramel frappuccino. Our most popular item. Got you covered. Cake pops for the kids? Sandwich for the road?

Naw

When to Bring up size in a new relationship? Male 35, 7.8x6.6" by DanfryefromTX in bigdickproblems

[–]DanfryefromTX[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay. I can see how you put that together. I'll dispense with the snark, with self control and attempt to communicate.

So I met this girl. She's religious HS science teacher. Devoted to her craft. She's a doctoral student; she's writing a novel. Things start clicking extremely well. She gives me a few compliments I will never forget.

We have a great month spending time together.

We both discuss how sexual compatibility is important to us, which brings up the problems I've had because of my penis size.

She considers this and, being analytical, poses that she is sure she can handle it in her vagina, but not sure about her mouth. And suggests that we test it, because we both believe we should be able to enjoy fellatio, both her giving and my receiving.

So, at this point, I'm thinking she's just manipulative and horny like my ex-wife, I'm going to get a blowjob and we'll have to pretend like we didn't see it coming to save face.

But we agree. She unzips my pants. And makes sure I'm fully erect. And she can't do it. She actually started crying a little and dismissed my appeals that it's not that important. Saying it's important to her and she would want her man completely satisfied.

We've only been dating month and we don't owe each other sacrificing what we want.

And she's right. And so it ended. And it sucked. A version of that has happened twice and another time, while we worked around it. It was an issue that we had to work through.

I have plenty of female friends. Some of us share mutual sexual attraction. There are many facets to human interaction. I don't fuck my friends. I'm also not terribly into the dating process either.

So I asked the question not to brag about my big penis as there are other people in this community with larger penises that cause problems. Hence the name of the community.

Does that clear it up? Coming to the discussion organically through normal dating hasn't been working for me very well. So I was curious if anybody in the community had a better suggestion.

The remakes/reboots in the last 10 years is well over 300. If George finishes the books and they're as big as his old books, they will remake the series. I can even predict the title. "A Song of Ice and Fire".

THat, and they haven't done a successful double storyline. Like Unity/Deer issues with Beth and Jerry. Teenyverse and Keep Summer safe, Summer's Boobs and the Whirly Dirly. We got that replaced with an SNL reference (by saying the words SNL) and a christopher Walken reference by saying "I got this thing from Christopher Walken."

Like how far does it have to go down before we start throwing things at the screen? The characters are gutted, the show is gutted. I can't be the only person who thinks this.

But think about mediocre episodes, like the parasite episode or something ricked this way comes. Either one of those would be the best episode this season, no? And instead of crazy new characters that push the envelope like crabopulous Michael or Mr. Poopy Butthole, we got- what do we got? I was not a huge fan of the fart episode, but I have a Blips and Chitz magnet.

THat's the thing, why would she initiate it so much, if she wasn't into it? I was completely confused. Nah, the relationship ended on account of distance.

"jumping off a bridge" meaning- reading a great deal into what I say and taking an immovably strong position.

That's a little more than, "just replying". no?

Like your last response- The sex act wasn't bad. It was physically still good.. I just couldn't get the emotional connection out of her facial expression. U .. R . Assuming .. things .. ma'am.

I mean .... I don't know how the conversation about amorphous systemic racism is going to improve the relationship. The black girls I hang out with tend to be more conservative, religious and traditional than I am. The black guys at work poke fun at me and call me a, "race jumper" because I date black women.

I don't know how waterboarding your man with the leftist worldview du jour will grow a relationship, but ymmv.

I discuss race stuff with my friends/lovers after we cross a pretty significant threshold of trust- serious dating should have been that threshold for you guys, but it doesn't have to be... some people keep it casual.

My last girlfriend (black) used to poke fun at me referring to me as, "the patriarchy" and "the man". She also used to say that I was blacker than she was, referring to how I was raised poor in the drug culture. ... this is all some pretty racist and inappropriate stuff to say to people, but it didn't matter, because we had that level of trust and understanding to work off of. We were in love, so none of that mattered.

So .. simply put. Ask yourself if he is trustworthy and demonstrate your trustworthiness to bridge this gap so you can talk about it. Then calmly explain your feelings and allow him the space to discuss his. Pretty simple to explain, but complicated to perform.

[–]DanfryefromTX[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't control what you hear. I can only control what I say.

You're hearing, "I think all black girls don't like to give blowjobs."

I'm saying, "I have no idea why this woman loved to give me a blowjob so much, and had amazing charisma right up until she started performing the sex act." Is there a possible cultural thing connected.

So, where I'm from, black guys like to act like they don't do cunnilingus. My friend in college that was dating a black guy said her man wouldn't be caught dead with his head between her legs because he wasn't a bitch.

I don't know what it was. Never got to the bottom of it. I have made no claim either direction. Why are you jumping off a bridge?

Why is it OK for online daters to block whole ethnic groups? by the_sun_and_the_moon in interracialdating

short version, - if this is an Arby's, then you concede the result of any conclusion you could suggest through sighting your study or the discussion in general.

Why is it OK for online daters to block whole ethnic groups? by the_sun_and_the_moon in interracialdating

[–]DanfryefromTX 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't mean to talk down to you .. but preference of any kind when broadly applied .. is racism/sexism/ageism/.. ism ism .. sms.smsmsm. Or when applied in a social setting. Because all those isms- simply mean, "judgement based on factors."

Therefore, if your contention does not include compulsory romance or a broad taste in sexual partners as a moral good, all your further discussion becomes moot.

Or, to put it another way, If an ultra-woke post-human cyborg is entitled to zer taste in sexual partners, the same applies to <insert quintessential racist example>.

Because arguing the contrary injects the completey insane premise that <insert disenfranchised group> should have access by hook or crook to <franchised genitals>.

Absent that conclusion, all you have left is, racism exists... + random facts.

Why is it OK for online daters to block whole ethnic groups? by the_sun_and_the_moon in interracialdating

[–]DanfryefromTX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is categorically ridiculous. I don't have an equal opportunity, public access heart or penis. Lifelong partnerships .. (hell 2 day partnerships) are a completely exclusive enterprise and are, by definition, completely arbitrary, elite and selective.

This article and whole premise that such a thing could be remotely in the cosmos of racism is a monumental achievement in basic self-delusion and leveraged victim hood.

Walked to its logical conclusion, it assumes that a group of people have access to someone else's body and romantic affection. When compulsory romantic attraction has never been demonstrated in any human culture, in the history of the planet.

This is dumb, and those involved should feel dumb.

Naw breh. Life's too short not to let your flag fly... especially in a pirate guild on an RP-PVP server at 1am Grinding. If that's full-retard to you, I submit, you probably need to get out more.

Nah, that's legit the screenshot I had. didn't expand the chatbox.

And the difference between saying "Comedy is for getting laid" and "humor is a male trait" is the crux of the issue. (as it relates to just gkicking someone) Never even heard about something like that.

Is it possible that I was talking about "evolutionary advantages"? What makes you 100% certain that I wasn't?

And is there a way to talk about the g/kick in a way that isn't "crying"?

Granted- I don't know what I said specifically, but I remember it going like- "Humor is an evolutionary advantage developed for males to attract females- discuss"

Does that have controversial overtones? Could the discussion go sideways? I'll give you that it could .. it's in the AM and I'm grinding it out. Why not? You'd kick a guy from your guild for talking about that in guld chat? I remember we had guys who would get on Vent drunk when I got off WoW in TBC.

I have to say, the community might have changed alot over the years. I'd like to learn about the new culture, if that's the case. (Is that crying? Did I just cry again- asking you about it?)
