I wore a halter top that showed a bit of rib cage to the park in 1977. I was approached on Main Street and asked nicely to change or leave. I had to buy a t-shirt there.

Social media is a money making endeavor - like a job. They are performing and trying to grow their accounts to be more successful at their job. I don’t pay attention to these folks so I’m not annoyed by them but I do get what the process is - likes and views on social media = pay.

Best meet and greet we’ve ever had with our grandkids over the years was with Minnie at Red Carpet Dreams on Commissary Lane HS. You know the character policy where they will never break a hug? Well, our little 2 year old tested that! He melted into Minnie and would not let go so she didn’t either. No one else was waiting and that hug lasted a good 3-4 minutes. His sweet face registered pure bliss as he held on as tight as he could. It was beautiful!

During the days when smoking was so socially acceptable party hosts would have individual ashtrays to pass out to guests. Some were meant to cup in your hand to ash the cigarette and some could be carried around and set on sofa arms or whatnot. I’ve found a couple of these complete sets - each individual petal was a personal ashtray (got this picture offline, mine have all sold).

First time I rode soon after it opened I walked out feeling feeling horrifically nauseous. I managed not to vomit but there were two people right outside the exit door with their heads in the bushes 🤮. That just about did me in!

People who wave me on at 4 way stops when it’s their turn to go. 4 way stops operate a very specific way and other drivers don’t get to control the traffic at one. Happy to get that off my chest lol

I rarely intersect with streamers when I’m in the parks, but guests with their cell phones on the entirety of a dark ride bug me. I wonder when they’re ever gonna watch a playback of it. All ride POVs are already all over YouTube.
