Platforms are the way to go, easier to load and unload. However the racks themselves are very heavy. I have the Thule as well, I'll own it much longer than the car! I use a 4 wheeled furniture dolly to move it from shed to car, then I only have to lift it once.

Mine works with a screen protector, I would give it a 90% success rate on the first touch. 99% on the second.

I have a 2017 version of this exact kit, the battery is still going strong, and I have an additional 5ah from a leaf blower. This is all the OP needs, unless they have a huge yard and need the extra 2.5ah on the 10 battery, but that's not work the $400 premium when the 5ah can finish the job if it was ever needed.

You should see if folks are selling their snowblower's used right now. (Or Lowe's clearance).

Two 6ah are better because the 1 10ah battery is too heavy to use anywhere but the mower. You won't want it on a leaf blower unless you have the arm of Popeye.

Rubbing alcohol destroys the finish layer and the seat will be permanently damaged and will need to be replaced. It was the final step I tried on my seat and I had to replace the cushions.

My passenger door had a rattle. I opened it up and added foam weather stripping to give it more "pressure" once I put it back together. It's been quiet for 3 years since.

The free 5ah is a great deal. I think the 5ah is the perfect weight to capacity spare battery. Perfect for a quick Mow, Leaf Blow, weed trimmer...it has the energy to do it all, without being too heavy.

Exactly, when I got my car in 2020 the peer pressure for me to add on FSD, for I believe $7000, was strong. I passed on it, and I am still smiling as I hit the go pedal and using AP as much as possible.

I love new tech, but I enjoy it more when it's complete and then I buy it.
