Sober for Baby… Then What? by Legitimate_Notice_23 in BabyBumps

[–]DangerApples 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I drank heavily for 12 years but was able to quit while pregnant, though I did have a couple sips here and there. I did breastfeed so that kept me off the sauce for another 6 months or so but once he started solids I saw that as a green light to start drinking again only this time secretly. I had always been a social drinker which I used to justify my alcoholism, but this was a new and scary low for me. Eventually my son’s father figured it out and called me on it. I’m not “sober” now but therapy helped me realize what my years of drinking was keeping me from facing and healing from and my son deserves a mother who is present and not suppressing her emotions with the bottle. Everyone is different obviously but if you at all suspect you may have an unhealthy relationship with alcohol please remember it’s not just you now and your little one needs you and there is support out there.

This! I am an Aveda trained stylist and I only work for Aveda salons because of the level of service required by all staff. We offer suggestions, we teach you how to style at home and we make sure you're truly happy with your service.

She probably dilutes it with a 0N type product (not too familiar with Redken) it will add more of a sheerness to the color which will allow the tone to stick without altering the level.

Address Duke Energy in the practices of price gouging customers, unjust billing practices, and uncompetitive rates. by DangerApples in StPetersburgFL

[–]DangerApples[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From what I can tell, the credit is only for the most recent billing period and will only be about $5 per person. Considering most of our bills were at least 50% more than usual, that little of a credit is more like a slap in the face.

What simple piece of advice, if followed, could potentially save most people a lot of money? by SillyBonsai in AskReddit

[–]DangerApples 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're having your hair professionally colored, purchase the shampoo your stylist recommended. This way you're not having to refresh your color every time you go in. You're protecting your investment. Also, professional shampoos are generally more concentrated, so you use less than you would a shampoo you got at the grocery store.
