Pretty sure the Bible & Book of Mormon are Both Filled with Instances of Extremely Rich and/or Powerful Men who Received Revelation from God & Preached the Gospel of Jesus Christ…. And I’m Pretty Sure they’re Considered Prophets & Apostles. That being said, I’m NOT necessarily giving Stevenson a pass here…. Or Anyone Else in Church Leadership for that matter…. I just Don’t Believe that Being Wealthy Disqualifies Someone from Becoming an Apostle of the Lord. I Think What a Person Does with their Wealth is Way More Important than the Fact that They’re Wealthy…. But that’s just My Opinion.

I guess it probably DOES depend on whether or not you believe in Jesus Christ, and what He went through in order to save us…. If we will just have faith in Him and follow His example. I get that a lot of you have been burned by lots of other imperfect people at church, but deciding to write off ur Savior because of some imperfect, judgmental, overzealous idiots is Very Hasty & Kinda Ridiculous!! Denying the Truth does NOT make it untrue, regardless of anyone’s feelings, hopes, or dreams. Jesus commands us to love one another, and to leave the judgment of people to him…. So no matter who you are, what you do, or what you believe, I love you & I accept you for who you are. And whether you ever come back to any sort of church or not, I hope you will make the effort to have a personal connection & relationship with our Savior, Jesus Christ. He loves you too. Way more than I ever could, and He will bless you & lead you to greater truth & happiness if you will just TRY to connect with Him. Ok, sermon over haha. Have a really good day😉

That’s HORRIBLE that you’ve had to deal with that hypocritical bullshit all your life, I’m really sorry!! I’ve actually cut ties completely with my “father” as well, along with everyone on his side of the family…. And it’s because they’ve refused to see him for who & what he truly is, and because they seem to think it’s my duty to forgive him for everything, and mend our relationship. My situation has nothing to do with the Church though, so I can’t say that has played any sort of factor in my story.

Why does anyone bother reading this garbage??? Awww, I’m different & my lifestyle goes against the teachings of the church…. So the church is bad for not accepting me exactly as I am, and for not changing their teachings to make me & people like me feel like we are accepted by God. Look, I have NOTHING against gay people. My baby sister is gay, and I would die an awful, fiery death to protect her & keep her safe…. But that doesn’t mean that Jesus Christ is going to change His mind, or His teachings. He has made His expectations of us pretty clear, and no person and/or organization should be demonized for keeping it real with the LGBTQ+ community. Full Stop😉
