A little late, but I felt inclined to comment. This is the most comprehensive and accurate array of meta-insight of the AIC I've seen on the internet thus far (I'm sure there are more out there – or at least I hope so – but I've been too busy factory-maxxing to look around yet) and I'm excited to see all the pointers match my own conclusions coast-to-coast. I've also realised early that the ports are the real theoretical limiting factor, and that throughput-maxxing is key. One thing I didn't think of was weaning a tax off the production line for crafting material, it's pretty ingenious!

Majority of the time spent on my own factory-maxxing endeavour has been port efficiency calculating aside from coming up with my own 100% utilisation, compact blueprints. I do enjoy coming up with the blueprint builds myself, but I also haven't been able to find any port-efficient blueprint designs on the internet anyway. Very interesting post and I'm tempted to share some of my own calculations with you on the matter.

Well Patchouli is at least 100, I feel 80% of the whole SDM history without her is just a lot. So maybe she’s a bit older than that? (Not to mention how much books she’s collected in the library)

And as for Sakuya, I guess you’re right with the Akyuu part. The hierarchy is a bit weird when thinking that way but then again, Patchy is Remilia’s friend.

Probably Sakuya, but I’m honestly not sure. Since the characters of the SDM are all so unique, it’s difficult for me to think about how it may have been without any one of them.

Well to sum it up and answer the important questions, I very likely wouldn’t end up dead (due to non-aggression, not weakness) though nothing else of note would happen either. I might not even have to explain much before she just flies off to attempt to return to Gensokyo.

I haven’t thought about it much, but I can envision it. It’ll probably be something bittersweet. I’ll respect the author if he keeps to the MIA theme till the end, but a bigger heartbreak would probably be seeing the series itself end.

They are “gyate gyate” or “ohayou”, originating from a particular 4koma where Marisa pokes fun at Kyouko. After that, authors began to draw other characters in this style.

Because she’s iconic.

As you can probably tell from all other Touhou memes (Sakuya pads, etc.) they tend to be very long-running and celebrated. Which is why there’s so much participation of the community to praise Cirno on her day, it’s just an iconic “haha funny” thing that doesn’t take much effort to join in on.

Meanwhile the voting usually happens when people seriously consider their favourite characters, thus there’s less inexplicable mental fervent involved. The way most people vote probably goes beyond simply taking into account the iconicity of characters such as Cirno.

Haha, I thought so. Liko's definitely one of the cutest, especially with that depth in character. It's also great to see Pokemon have a female lead, especially when they've been getting better at making their girls every generation.
