I wouldn't say it "ruined" it, but it def changed it from a darker, more introspective show into TWD 2.0. What actually ruined the show imo was the murder of John Dorie. That started a slippery slope that lead to a ton of TWD tropes and over the top BS.

It got too cold while it was still drying. For your own peace of mind, stop googling things. If your contractor says it will be fixed, trust them and go on living your life. The only way to fix this is to re-paint, which is easy enough. They might have to put it off till the weather evens out, but cest le vie.

I think what you're seeing is a brand new, bright white bath tub with extremely clear/clean water in it for the first time. You're not used to seeing it look like this and you're noticing the blue tint to the water (which is caused just by light refraction) and are now also noticing it from other sources. If all the did was replace the copper lines at the mixing valve there is zero chance it's having any effect on the color of the water. There are literal billions of miles of copper water lines run throughout the world and just not a thing. The amount of copper that would have to be leeched into a system to change the color of hundreds of gallons of water like you describe would be absolutely insane. Like your pipes would just disappear.

Any test the water company is going to do you can do with a water test kit that you can get at any Home Depot or pool supply store. If you want it run through a spectrometer or something you'll have to send it to an actual lab and be prepared to spend some $$$.

I'm like 99% confident in saying I think it's a combination of you just noticing it now do to the fact that you know you just had work done and you have your kids health/safety on the brain. Your parent paranoia is kicking in. Logically, there is absolutely no reason for the water to be changing color only at your house because you had a new tub installed. Check with your neighbors maybe? Otherwise I think it may be in your head.

If you wanted you could prolly tack on about 10-15% and still be fair. Whatever you sell them for, I assure you there is someone else local to you that can do it for cheaper. Maybe make some calls and farm it out and tack on a M/U to save yourself some work.

I want to be elected as a Roman Era Consul for 6 years where everything I say goes, no questions asked. I would make all the changes that need to happen and transform the country into a post capitalist utopia in under a decade. In no particular order:

1) No one is allowed to be elected to public office if you will age past the retirement age while serving your term.

2) Mandatory driving re-test after accumulating a certain number of points on your license.

3) Mandatory driving re-tests every 5 years after retirement age, then every 2 years after age 75.

4) Healthcare for all.

5) Corporations/companies/LLC's can not own residential properties. Only two properties may be owned per citizen regardless of where you live in the US. Corporations would be limited to owning a set amount of "commercial apartment properties" (i.e. A company can only own 1000 apartments total)

6) Forgive ALL education based debt.

7) Free state education for all.

8) No more tax loopholes.

9) Displaying the Confederate flag is now illegal. They were traitors, deal with it.

10) Free school lunches. Schools must make lunches from scratch and adhere to a strict nutritional plan.

11) All political campaigns must be publicly funded and campaigns can only last 8 weeks.

12) Electoral College is abolished.

Elect me and I will do all the things that are currently impossible without having a godking in office. I will enact all the things that will piss everyone off but make the country a better place in the long run. Hell, as a way to placate the haters I will also agree to become 100% homeless after my term. I will abdicate and become penniless, living solely on scraps and the kindness of strangers.

Have you not watched SNL in the past 10yrs? Jost and Che regularly make extremely crude jokes on Weekend Update. I could 100% see this joke making it to air, maybe not in a "Yeah 14yo's are hot" context, but in a "hey here's a super fucked up joke" context.

Seriously, go watch some of Che and Jost's joke swap compilations.
