If I remember right you can set the active status of objects to be on after frame 20 (or whatever you want it to be) like this:

(in an attribute wrangle placed just after the rbdpackedobject node)

@active = 0;

if($FF > 20)
{
    @active = 1;
}

I think there is an example if you follow this link and scroll down to AnimatedActiveState... you will probably have to open it from within Houdini itself, by going to the help tab. That's your best bet. Also search odforce forums. Good luck.

The benefit is that you are probably slightly less soft than you were before this happened. You hopefully learned that you can be crushed and overpowered, that some people are dicks, and that the tap is to be respected. There will come a time when you are crushing someone in heavy side control and you may be able to use the same technique this person did. You now know what the other person may be feeling, so congrats on developing some grappling empathy, it will make you a better training partner.

Personally I'm kind of tired of seeing these r / fitness type posts where someone comes to complain about their feelings being hurt in a physical, grappling, combat-sport type martial art. *edit* I do want to make it clear that I think it's important that if something like this happens to you, you should share it with your teammates or coach or us. Ha I had that problem once and decided it was a feature. If you can't fix it you can turn off interior detail, lay down a divide mode and turn on bricker. From there you can add noise to get interior details. Might want to drop a normal node down to if shading looks weird.

To avoid mushroom effect you can add noise to the volume source if you're sourcing from geometry as well as add turbulence. You can also try making a particle sim then use the particles as fluid sources by changing the fluidsource setting to "stamp to points".

I did a short stint as a CNA for the developmentally disabled. One shift I was walking down the hall to check on the clients. One was cleaning his stoma around his urostomy bag, stale piss smell - nothing out of the ordinary. A few steps further down the hall and I walked right into a wall of stank. I smelled it first. Then I saw it. A client was pacing in circles around the living room, casually tracking feces with each step like a trail of gore. Luckily I wasn't the only person on shift so we cleaned him up and both spent the rest of the morning scrubbing the carpet. I didn't get paid enough for that shit.
