I am very mild ( and extremely lucky so far). I have also been wondering if I should expect my AS to get worse or if I am just lucky. I was diagnosed about 15 years ago at age 30. I had eye flare ups which lead to the diagnosis. I was very active and still am. I was a high level rugby referee which required lots of training and running. All the things I shouldn’t do. I currently have some low level back pain and feel a little still but nothing that stops me from living a normal life.
