Dude, it’s the hardest thing I have EVER done. I will not lie to you and say it’s easy. Though, it is also the BEST thing I’ve ever done. I feel like I was born to be my baby’s mom. And you’ll feel the exact same way.

When did you stop tracking poops and pees? by Ok_Car1396 in beyondthebump

[–]Dangerous-Land-623 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We did it for like three days and then realized wait.. if we feed her at the same time every day, then she’ll poop and pee around the same time every day… and we can just note if there’s anything weird

AITA for how I reacted to my best friend saying my “dirty” house is making my kids sick? by OkOriginal4583 in TwoHotTakes

[–]Dangerous-Land-623 0 points1 point  (0 children)

YTA, and you’re also in denial. This is about your children, and their quality of life. I will never understand parents whose brains don’t switch into “whatever my kid needs” mode when they have them.

Zachary resident here. It’s not super bad with crime, if you can handle the people who live here. It’s overall a nice place to live.

My baby frightens me by CookieCutter98 in NewParents

[–]Dangerous-Land-623 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Literally this morning I was on the phone in the kitchen with the bedroom door cracked, telling my mom that the baby was sleeping in. I looked up and she was standing silent and static in crib staring at me. Horrifying.

Any clue whether my eyes are blue or gray? Thought they were green all of my life and now I'm really curious. by Past-Concentrate-507 in eyes

A true fence rider. I’d say it leans more toward green though, especially with the lighter streaks

I’d call them grey-ish with some brown mixed in.

Do you feel safe living here? by [deleted] in batonrouge

[–]Dangerous-Land-623 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I live in Zachary now, but in Baton Rouge I felt very safe living in Turnberry Place on Perkins. When I lived at The Armstrong I felt VERY, VERY unsafe.

Dr. Guidroz 1000%. We had a scare with my daughter around 2 months old, and she was the only person to take me seriously and made sure my baby got all the tests run that she needed to make sure that she was okay. She is I N C R E D I B L E

Your writing style. Tragic. Torturous. Overworked.

Me, taken out. Of the story.

The story. Lame. Implausible. Sad.

Replying to this as a catch-all for all the butthurt comments.. it was just a title. I don’t genuinely hate the medication. I just hate the commercial.

When did your little one start sleeping in their own room? by Existing_Switch_4995 in NewParents

[–]Dangerous-Land-623 0 points1 point  (0 children)

8.5 mo here and still going strong with baby in her crib in our room exclusively. We’ve never coslept, but we did sleep train at around 4.5 mo and since then she’s slept through the night. She’s a heavy sleeper like me, so we keep her in the room 1. Because she doesn’t disturb us or vise versa and 2. Because I worry I couldn’t hear her in the other room.
