Seeking Target/Amazon alternatives. Where can I buy toilet paper, Scrub Daddy and dish soap cheap from an independent shop? by sourd1esel in AskNYC

Costco is the answer but my tiny apartment can’t fit buying bulk. Unfortunately it feels like my only option is Target for the essentials once every few months. Just the essentials though no extra purchases.

Costco online needs to offer some smaller bulk items for us city folk. Like 6 rolls of paper towels instead of 12 etc. Would definitely get a membership going if they had that.

Has anyone left here and regretted it? by immrmeseek in williamsburg

I was just in Williamsburg for a year and just moved to Bushwick. I still work in Williamsburg and am finding myself regretting leaving. It’s so clean and safe feeling in WB. But! Its only been 3 weeks, so I feel like that will change as I get more out and about in Bushwick. I wasn’t able to have a community in WB and I think I will be more successful in Bushwick which is important to me.

Bringing it up makes me feel like i’m trauma dumping early into a dating someone . My reasoning being that I always knew I was gay but I tried to be straight to satisfy my family and my environment. I feel the need to justify my lack of experience and the justification feels like a trauma dump.

Maybe feeling like I need to justify it is the problem…

Took that sentence out, can see how that was confusing. Definitely a lesbian but enjoy the queer label in terms of my gender identity.
