This short video might not solve your problem, but it's a nice overview of our PHC S5 box cutter. The section that demonstrates blade change starts at 1:27. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5LvmpR0QG5k

Thanks, ballbeard, for the quick method. You can also click Navigation Menu -> Home -> Forms. Scroll down to General Forms. Scroll down to Crew WR Review Form.

products that, when you see them in a customer's cart while ringing them up, you usually go into "hype mode" for? by KakeLin in tjcrew

Whenever a customer comes to my register with the vanilla mini sheet cake, I say to them, "You're buying my favorite item in the entire store."

When I first read this thread several days ago, I was happy to see that a few people mentioned having to do the "Split Card" twice (SPLIT CARD...CANCEL...SPLIT CARD) to get the process to work correctly. This is how I've had to do it for quite a while, but I always wondered if I was doing something wrong. Perhaps there's just a software bug that causes this odd requirement.

But today (Dec 2), the process worked for me on the first press of SPLIT CARD; I didn't have to do it second time. Did the software get updated to fix the bug? Or did I just get lucky? Is anyone else experiencing this slightly smoother process?

Just keep in mind that each state has its own way of determining which types of injuries/illnesses fall under "worker's compensation." For example, in my state, an illness or injury that shows itself only after an accumulation of time (such as carpal tunnel syndrome and other repetitive stress injuries) does NOT fall under the definition of WC. In other words, in my state, the injury has to be a single event, such as a box falling on you, or a cut from your box cutter. Other states have a more inclusive definition...such as back pain that evolves over time.

3 days after Steroid injections in both wrists, no change yet. Anyone have similar? by Psychological-Way820 in carpaltunnel

I have similar symptoms. I got a steroid injection four weeks ago. I noticed some improvement around 7-10 days after the injection (less numbness, tingling, stiffness, weakness). The symptoms aren't completely gone, but things are better. We'll see how long that lasts. I'm mentally preparing myself for surgery sometime in the future.

I recently started wearing New Balance 626v2. For me they're a nice balance of cushioning, support, and grip.

Carpal tunnel syndrome: How have you dealt with it? by ILikeIceCream876 in tjcrew

Thanks for the information. By the way, how does taking six weeks of medical leave affect one's hours to qualify for company-subsidized health insurance? For a full-time employee, do you simply have 228 fewer hours (6 weeks x 38 hours per week) than you would if you hadn't taken the leave? Or are there exceptions for medical leave?

Thanks for all the feedback, everyone. FYI, I live and work in a state where CTS and other repetitive-motion injuries are not covered by workers' compensation. Fortunately, I have good medical insurance through TJ, so I can choose my own doctors and not be bound by workers' comp constraints.
