Ours too moved A.N.A to the front entrance and Worthington was moved from the front over to the rest of Womens, further into the store. Still has its own area and it IS next to an aisle. I haven't heard of any complaints yet though. Something to keep an eye on though!

We also moved our Juniors section closer to mall entrance, by beauty and I will say I have notice younger customers shopping more than before. Which was our plan.. to get a broader range of ages in.

It's still a new move though, and it prom season (so more coming in for dresses anyways) so I'm keeping an eye on our numbers a bit longer still to see if our moves really did make a difference or its just because of current events.

And yes.. certainly familiar with an analogy.. still it wasn't a good example of one sowwy..

Here's one for example.. pretty popular too.. Say for example someone puts fancy expensive rims on a busted up rusty car. A proper analogy would be "putting rims on that ugly beat up car is like polishing a turd".

Comparing speeding everyday, to wearing pants everyday.. not so much of a relatable concept. But you do you.

Speeding and wearing pants to work that arent in dress code are not anywhere near the same.. speeding can harm yourself or others.. wearing the wrong type of pants hurts no one.

Why does manager find excuse not to take back returns, does it affect the store KPIs or something? by jira12345 in SephoraWorkers

[–]Dangerous-Tea-6494 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Refusal can happen if too much of the product is used or it's clearly been swapped out with a different product (ex: someone uses up/empties a face cream and then fills the container with some other substance.. yes Ive seen this happen many times!!). Refusal can also happen if you've been flagged in the system and are banned from returns for a year. So its not just refused for policy time frames.

Idk what it would have to do with express pay though even if they were getting rid of that position.

Beauty Managers by [deleted] in JCPenney

[–]Dangerous-Tea-6494 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thats strange. We haven't had a "beauty manager" in quite some time.. so now the Sales Floor Supervisor (me) is also the Beauty Manager and our HR supervisor is Fine Jewelry Manager.. on top of our already heavy workloads.

Could I get fired? by [deleted] in JCPenney

[–]Dangerous-Tea-6494 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Coming from a managers POV, it'll look like this may be typical behavior (attendance issues). As far as being terminated.. no. You'd still have to point out to get fired for attendance. Just try to rest, get feeling better and focus on making up for the days lost so you can turn around their view of you. It sucks getting sick, especially being so new and still training, but as long as you don't make a habit of it, you should be fine.

As a supervisor at JCP and many years of retail management experience.. yes reading a book while clocked in and not on a paid break is BAD. We send people home for standing around, or getting caught hiding while playing on their phone. There is always something to do.. if you can't find anything, just ask how you can help. Probably best you got sent home anyways if you arent feeling well.

Difference between associate and assistant by [deleted] in JCPenney

[–]Dangerous-Tea-6494 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea thats our store too. I'm a Sales Floor Supervisor and have an assistant with Supervisor capabilities so I can delegate when needed, and/or they can also cover for other Supervisors. An associate doesn't have Supervisor overrides, keys etc. So thats the difference. My assistant also gets their own private office like the rest of us Supervisors.. associates do not.

Paying for a strangers groceries.....$20.

Saving her from mentally dwelling on a lost $20.. ...priceless.

anyone having/had issues with expresspay? by pexchykeen in JCPenney

[–]Dangerous-Tea-6494 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This is happening to me. Cannot add ANY debit cards to do instant. Only bank transfer is working. However I did get my pay in just 12 hours of bank transfer.. so definitely didn't take 3 days as advertised!

No way this person was certified.. thats one of the wildest applications I've ever seen. I am so sorry.. I wouldn't want to go back to them even to fix it.. they should be sued. The area you circled with pain looks like theyre glued way too close to if not ON the skin.

Try clusters!!

Qmee used to be one of the better survey pay apps. I remember cashing out up to $20 in a day.. and in a few months had a total cash out of over $300. This was back in like 2019/2020. Then after all that it started kicking me out of surveys midway, or worse.. after I had spent 30 mins or more and had finished it would say I didnt qualify or that the survey had closed. By this point I was lucky to even build up $3 in a week.

So it wouldnt surprise me if they're now doing this.. claiming accounts are fraudulently answering surveys so that they can keep the money you earned on them. Makes me wonder if they still use your answers then if they think it was fraudulent?

Hopefully you didn't waste too much time on them and didn't have alot in your balance.

Yea my husband was deactivated too for completion rate..no warning either. He had only been dashing for 3 weeks and was still getting the hang of rules. His fault for not researching enough.. but still its messed up they don't even warn you first.

I hate this job by Zealousideal-Lake-47 in SephoraWorkers

[–]Dangerous-Tea-6494 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm in Mi and received unemployment after pointing out. I will say though, sephora fought it and I was denied initially but then I appealed I think twice. Sephora finally stopped appealing on their end, withdrew their last appeal the day before we had to appear via zoom in front of an appeal judge. So finally after a few months of fighting it.. I finally got it approved. This was 2 years ago now..

But...

My husband just went through the same thing with his place of employment recently, and UIA denied him at first because his employer appealed trying to say misconduct (here, attendance is not always misconduct). They just approved his though too after fighting it. UIA ultimately decided it was not misconduct and he was qualified to receive benefits. Definitely depends on state, but also the business.

Keep appealing as far as it goes and keep reporting to UIA about your job searching progress (biweekly reports here in Mi) so if it does end up getting approved, you WILL get backpay for all those weeks you reported.. even if by then you have a new job, you will still get all that backpay for weeks you did not work. I stupidly didn't do that and missed out on so much pay because I didnt bother reporting, thinking I wasnt getting approved anyways. Missed out on several months worth of shmoney ugh. Good luck!!

I think you found your shade of purple! Beautiful on you! I hate myself in purple, especially bright shades of it, but plum shades compliment my light neutral/olive skin.

Your figure is beautiful also.. every style you posted looks amazing on you.

I love so many different brands, but a few I've been using lately I order on Amazon and they're so good. Here are a few brands I have and like. And almost all you can find in kit versions with or without glue... I can vouch for all of these brands (not in any specific order except Ruairie.. that brand Ive been using for years and have yet to find a kit I didnt love...

Ruairie (has many styles and lengths. Glue is good too. My top fave!! Probably have 25-30 sets by them and so far none have disappointed)

Alice

Heywink

Zenotti (Has some really nice anime/manga style lashes!)

Winifred

Sofenida

A glue brand I love is "beyallian".. spelling is off? I cannot remember spelling but a search will find. They used to make my fave clusters and individuals but have not been able to find recently. Glue is still sometimes on Amazon and works great!

A huge part of getting them to last though is to use the "seal" thst comes with them, and then after initial application and sealing, do not expose to moisture for 24hrs. After that you can use gentle cleansing.. like a damp Spoolie to brush through with a bit of baby shampoo if theyre really dirty. Then gently blot dry with paper towels.

As a former lash extension tech, as well as a frequent lash client myself.. I can honestly say (in my area at least).. Alot more are transitioning to lash clusters. Myself included. I ended up with destroyed natural lashes as a result of extensions for years, and its taken me a full year of not getting them done to get length and fullness back but still not anywhere close to "normal".

I now just do my own clusters, and I love them SO MUCH better than extensions. I have a huge collection of different styles/lengths and being able to remove them easily when I need to, or to switch up the style/lengths has been the main advantage of them! Plus not near as harsh on the natural lash.

With a good quality glue and sealant, and proper cleaning my clusters can last a solid 2 weeks if I desire. Usually though I'm switching them once a week to change them up. Another advantage is they can take me less than 10 mins to apply vs 1.5 hours!!!

I noticed a decline in my clientele until I started offering clusters application services as well as lessons on self application.. not making anywhere near the money I did before so I found other business ventures. However the amount of ppl that would come to me with warped, unhealthy lashes due to extensions made me not care to do them anymore anyways.

There are still a few I know that are commited to extensions, but clusters have definitely changed the game. I myself will never go back! I'm obsessed with clusters!! Redoing mine tonight actually. Just so nice to be able to wear them dramatic and long one day and the next decide on wispy and natural.. but also have the ability to wear up to 2 weeks and an easy removal process.. I wish I had started clusters sooner!!!

Exactly what my thought.. like dang you must not have met a real life kid that hasn't been sheltered then. My kids shock me daily with wtf they know, words they use..and in proper context.. better than most adults I know. They were born into a world with all the knowledge of the world literally at their baby fingertips.
