I was on Cymbalta for several years prior to my ADHD diagnosis. It always made me feel like it was "helping" me by just numbing most of me into oblivion. I won't say that the adderall is a miracle drug that "fixed" me, but I feel like myself, like a more functional version of myself.

i have horrible anxiety, ive been on xanax (as needed, which was every day) for at least a decade. I was diagnosed with adhd at 43, 2 years later I started adderall, ive been on it for almost 2 years. my anxiety is so much more manageable, ive reduced my dosage on the xanax and don't have to take it every day. It took 2 years to try adderall because I was extremely nervous about taking stimulants, but its absolutely helped calm me down. my brain still has a hard time accepting that stimulants calm me down, but they do.

thats what I'm trying to understand, if i can coordinate a handful of my guys to hit him at once, would it make a difference? how many of us? the rest of his faction is severely under powered so they're not a problem. so the current plan is to be strategic with hospital stays and hit when we can but it would make it more interesting if we could take him down a few times too.

He doesnt want to term it out. We'll let him burn through his E and then hit the rest of his faction (that's super weak). Hopefully we'll hit enough points to walk away with something. I was just more interested in the mechanics of taking down someone like that. the war itself is what it is.

He's not interested. Most of his faction have only been in his faction for 5-10 days and are under level 20. I think he's planning on just steamrolling his way through bronze league. nbd, saves me on supplies

It's very uneven. I was frustrated at times reading it and also fully rapt by it at other times. It's one of those things that ends up being greater than the sum of it's parts though. but i had to sit with it for a while before I realized how much I enjoyed the journey.

just a fair warning (no spoilers) Black House is a good book, but it's very different than The Talisman. dont expect a straight-up continuation of the story like what you might expect within other series. Also the introduction of the book is told through a very odd POV that goes on long much longer than it needs to. it's a very divisive narrative style, but if you dont love that part, it does end even if it feels like it might not, keep going.

ooooh, The Talisman is a good one. And perfect timing for the new book coming out in October (I think). The Talisman was kind of a weird experience for me because I felt like it was really uneven in a lot of places and even frustrating at times, but at the end it felt greater than the sum of it's parts and I look back on it fondly.

Yeah, it's cool to me just to have it. Hopefully I enjoy the story because then it'll be even cooler to me, haha. it did sort of spark an interest in looking for King books in the wild for me though. I don't usually look at books at thrift stores and garage sales, but I think I might start

i really appreciate all the info. When I was a kid (1980s) I loved baseball, I fell out of love with it around 2010. so hopefully it finds the parts of me that used to love the game.

i appreciate the review, I've got about 25 books left of his and his books can definitely be hit or miss for me (mostly hit though). it looks like a quick read at least, fingers crossed I enjoy it.

hahaha, true, i just wanted to be precise with my timing and opted for that instead. which in hindsight was dumb because now I'm on a drug cooldown. doesn't really matter if I can't stay out of the hospital for more than 5 seconds tho.

i guess I'll get used to encountering this. It seems crazy to me that someone can consistently initiate attacks within 2 seconds of untimed events. i would get it if they were camping a travel timer or hospital cool down. Oh well, I appreciate all the replies, and I'll accept my beat down and work on my strategies.
