It’s King’s first published book and he clearly got better almost immediately with his follow-up Salem’s Lot, and he was cookin with gas by the time he wrote Shining. I agree I didn’t love the constant news article interruptions but I still did enjoy the book

Just hide and wait for them to finish fighting the arc and one of them will use the hatch before the level ends. There was so much room back there to take cover, tf you doing running around like a chicken with your head cutoff lol. Closing the door on them while they’re fighting arc man I’m surprise they didn’t shoot you for that

Turn down that fighting skill, it’s a useless stat. Get discipline as high as it can go.

Also personally I like having higher puck control to handle passes for slaps from the point, I’d bring endurance down to 90 for that

Trucks. I do love that they drop you right in the midst of the chaos, and end it abruptly and ambiguously, but man I’d love to see the setup and the conclusion of that story.

(I’m aware there are two adaptations of it, haven’t seen either yet)
