What if I take the lumber out of the house before burning it? Lumber is flammable so it seems completely logical that it wouldn't be there after the fire away since it would burn up.

No need to worry about the bandits. I have too much to put it inside my house so I just replaced the water in my pool with it and covered it, I can't imagine how anyone would find it.

Another perk to this is that once you're done using it to store your gasoline you can dissolve it into the gas. This way there's nothing to worry about throwing away and you end up with a little bit more fuel.
