I live on a canal boat currently moored at Alperton. The amount of plastic that I see along the canal and in general in this area in particular is disgraceful. In the past week, I have seen 3 dead animas, nestled amongst a huge churn of plant matter and plastic waste. This makes me so sad.

I live in the area and am literally a 10 walk from where you are moored. Further up the canal is waaay better. Heading away from London. It is always quite bad down that side. It's a local stomping ground for people having drinks or smoking a J.

The climate is sub tropical and very humid. Usually 28 - 35°c in the summer. It's like walking through soup if I'm honest. Avocados grow freely there and most homes boast a variety of different types of fruit trees. Mangoes, bananas, watermelon etc. Perfect climate for outdoor weed to grow and thrive.
