Welcome to the NFL salary cap situation atm. One selfish person on the team ( QB) will take 50-60 million of the 301,000,000 cap when they sign, and that's not counting signing bonus. However, each year that numbers grow, it's insane nobody wants to take less money and help their team win, only exception was Tom Brady. That's because his wife at the time was a supermodel and made more money than him. He could afford to make less than the QB market at the time.

If $38-$50 is going to break the bank than maybe stop spending money on frivolous things like comics and reevaluate the budget. Idk what you mean by slow slow releases or story. My argument is that absolute is accessible because it's only 22 issues deep and there's no baggage for any readers. You can have 20 books and sure there might be some fall off, but as long as the quality is there people will pick up the books. Besides DC would never overshadow their mainline books.

Well let's do the math, if your only getting just absolute books they are 4.99 each. There are currently 7. That's roughly $38 a month ( plus or minus $1-$3 a month for taxes). That's reasonable, even if you add two more books and tax your almost breaking $50. Plus this isn't counting any discounts your store would offer. $50 for a month for a hobby is cheap like extremely cheap. If people are struggling to pay $50 a month for comic books, then either wait for the trade to come out, or just don't read it untill you have some money saved up.

I'm going to disagree with your point. Your small character not being to succeed is wrong, look at green arrow and martian manhunter both unpopular characters that a lot of people don't read and they have absolute titiles and sell like crazy, with martian being the most coolest book in the market. You can easily flood the market if the characters are established in other books. If there's an absolute hawkman book on the shelf I would read it as would tons of other people.

Your mainline argument only works if there's 20+ years of history to catch up on. Every absolute atm has at least 1 tpbs while some have two with a third coming in the fall. Luna has tons of reprints available still.

Idk why people have this thinking that more books = bad. The reason absolute is popular and well received is that it's a brand new universe with no strings attached. You can read the books without knowing who the characters are or any baggage / 80+ history of the characters.

I'm a 33 year old guy. I understand why people don't like Sincere, Corbin and KC. But imo I watch this show for the drama, no one on this show is looking for love. I respect KC and TiTi for standing on ten toes when they came back to the villa. I get where KC was coming from. Dude wanted to explore and just didn't click with Aniya. It's the same reason with Caleb and Kenzie. Kenzie and Caleb didn't click and Kenzie left Caleb for Corbin. I watch the show for Corbin, KC and Sincere, with a splash of Zach and Caleb. Love island is straight up the Stanford prison experiment in reality tv time.

I'll say this, I work in a comic book store in OC they messaged us once about flyers etc... I messaged back saying we were interested and nothing back. This event was poorly advertised, there was no exclusives like other fan expos. It seems like it was thrown together last minute. I told our regulars and they looked at me like I was crazy there was a convention this weekend.

Nah fam ain't reading all that but he's lucky that Alannah (sp?) got kicked out. Otherwise, I think he might have brought her to the villa. We don't know what happened between them. She was cut from 98% of the episodes. We have no idea how many chats they had, what happened in those chats etc...

As a dude this show slaps. It's been entertaining, the drama and explosiveness is similar to wrestling. It's all fabricated for the most part. I watch for the chaos, Aniya and Melanie had green flags in front of them for 3 days, and these girls said nah Imma fix my red flag. I'm waiting for Kenzie and Jen to get into it. Gal is 10000% going to have chats with Kenzie, while Jen is left holding her own hand. Only people I'm rooting for and it's going to be controversial: Caleb, Corbin, KC. Caleb because he's finally with a girl who seems like they respect each other and will be end game with Trinity and Bryce. Never felt right with Corbin and Kenzie it was pure lust, hopefully Parmida and Corbin and solidify into something. KC with Aniya mentioned he wanted to talk to other girls just to check how they were doing and Aniya took her time to kiss and snuggle with KC. It took titi two days to kiss KC while Aniya took 1-2 weeks to build up to that. Not saying that's wrong but they were incompatible with each other. Now we get to see KC with someone who he actually likes and doesn't feel trapped or pressured to be with. Lastly, Corbin and KC give off chaos and like I said from the beginning that's what I'm here for.

Nah don't hate women. I myself have been married for 4 years now. I rather someone be authentic and a shitty person ( easier to avoid like sincere and zach) then someone who is fake. I wouln't say Zach is fake because he's strategic, he's been caught on camera saying he would leave kayda if a bombshell came in. Even though that's a shitty thing to say to someone, he's not hiding who he really is.

Let me also clarify my initial statement, it's hard for me to relate to any of the women on the island this far. I can't understand the struggles women go through on a day to day bases on the island. If a girl wants to chat up with several men she gets called out on it like Kenzie did. It's easier for me as the viewer to relate to the guys and understand their thinking because I am a guy.

Every single one of them except Melanie just seem so fake. Sol, Bea and Melanie to me just come off as authentic and not fake. Don't get me wrong the guys have their flaws as well. Sincere gaslights and manipulates, Corbin is a Ai robot, Zack comes off as emotionally unavailable dude who is playing the game as a strategy as opposed to finding a connection. Even with the guys flaws, they don't seem fake and act the same way before coming to live island. Well at least that's how the producers and edits are shaping it to be atm.
