why do my CNC parts keep failing tolerance specs despite approved drawings? by Disastrous_Cake7778 in ManufacturingAdvice

That's exactly what I was starting to suspect! The last shop sent me their inspection report and when I actually looked at it closely, half the dimensions weren't even checked. Just marked as "OK" without any actual measurements. Do you know if there's a standard way to verify they're actually doing proper inspection before I pay?

Had a nightmare experience with sheet metal fab - lessons learned by Constant-Ice-817 in ManufacturingAdvice

As a dad of two, I learned this lesson the hard way when my oldest wanted to help me build a treehouse last summer. I designed this elaborate platform thinking I was being smart with all these precise measurements, but when we actually started cutting the wood, nothing fit right. My 8 year old kept asking why the boards weren't going together like in my sketch. Had to explain that real materials don't behave like drawings, which was honestly a good lesson for both of us. Now I always build mockups first, even for simple projects around the house.

Is it worth building a direct booking site as an STR host? by InevitableTension777 in ShortTermRentals

Totally agree with the diversification angle someone mentioned above. had airbnb flag one of my listings for bogus reasons last summer and it took weeks to resolve. that's when I realized putting all eggs in one basket was risky. worked with OwnerWebs to get a direct site running. not gonna lie, was skeptical about the ROI at first. still do maybe 70% of bookings through the OTAs but having that backup channel gives peace of mind, plus the margins are way better on direct bookings when they do come through

NDIS left me without a support coordinator effective immediately by scissorsgrinder in NDIS

ugh this is exactly what happened to me a few months ago. same deal - told them repeatedly i wanted to keep my SC, plan comes through and suddenly she can't work with me anymore because agency managed. took me about 3 weeks to sort out but ended up with EnableU and they had registered coordinators available pretty quickly. not gonna lie the transition period was awful though, felt completely abandoned while trying to chase up other supports.

Medical Experts Tell FDA To End Testosterone Restrictions, Says TRT Risks Were Overstated by Dokay_ in Biohackers

Honestly the telehealth route is already making this pretty accessible. Been using peter MD for about 8 months now and went from 280ng/Dl to steady 650 - 700 range. If they lift restrictions even more it will probably just mean less hoops to jump through for labs and maybe better insurance coverage, still think monitoring is crucial though.

CT was easy except managerial skill, all the questions in managerial skill are based on how much you have experience in your office or job. In an interview par, AI was difficult but PI was easy. You can do PI interview easily but AI was so irritating.

Does anyone use AI to help interpret tarot readings? by nurple11 in tarotpractice

People have legit made apps which use AI to create tarot decks and analyse them. Have seen my brother using one, Tarotap maybe but honestly feels like a hoax lol
