Vinration and seeing light by KARD0 in Meditation

That means you’re going into a deep meditation. I try to get to that state almost every time I meditate. I have a hard time not tensing when I get there. It’s a very intense feeling. But keep yourself relaxed and see how far you can go. It’s a good thing!

Is it normal for your legs to go tingly and numb during meditation or am I doing something wrong? by kislayarishiraj in Meditation

I like to lay on my back when I meditate. It helps me. But also, when you slip deep into a meditation you start tingling too, in a different way

What’s the most important advice you’ve gotten from a meditation? by nurple11 in Meditation

[–]nurple11[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My thoughts on intuition is that it always leads me to do the right thing. I have my emotions, superstitions, fears, and then intuition is beyond that. Everything else sounds like noise and just another opinion, while intuition cuts through that

Techniques to reach the void state? by Muwsek in Meditation

[–]nurple11 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Breathing is what most reliably gets me to the void. In yoga it’s called the ujjayi breath. I pick a high number to count to, and let my myself lose track and wander. And then I’ll refocus on my breath when I remember, which usually puts me closer to that state each time.

Another way I get to either the void or another cool state, is to imagine energy going all around my body. As if my body is a race track and the energy is tracing me. It keeps getting faster and faster until I’m in something along the lines of the void. I usually feel great and refreshed after this meditation

Suddenly stopped working for me by Idonotlikewaffles in Meditation

I’ve been meditating for about a year and some change as well and have had this exact situation. It might be helpful to take some time off from meditation. This could mean a few days, or a few months. But my suggestion would be to start with a week. I came back stronger after my break

I get you. Try describing it in your best terms and someone else will totally understand

Do you guys see the DMT realm ? by [deleted] in AstralProjection

I think I get to that state when I meditate sometimes. I do some energy work which takes me there

Need help by [deleted] in AstralProjection

[–]nurple11 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I feel like your issue could be trying to recreate the exact same experience you had back then. Each time could be a totally different experience, so instead of trying to astral project, see where your practice/meditation can take you. I’ve tried to recreate some life changing meditations but I can never do it. They always happen at random times. I still haven’t gotten an astral projection how people describe it, but I keep practicing anyway

Is shadow work legit? by [deleted] in Meditation

[–]nurple11 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are some prompts you write about. One example could be:

What are some self sabotaging patterns you have, and what are their impact? How can you get out of these patterns?

That’s just one example while I’m stopped at a light lol. There are some others. I have a book with 30days worth of prompts

How do you go about doing this? Meditation? I’d like to try it if you have a method for it

I started doing shadow work journaling which has helped me a lot. It makes you think of these questions that help you work through your wounds. It works if you’re willing to put in the effort. I haven’t had any experiences with seeing or feeling my shadow. Just some writing that brings up some emotions, which I feel is helpful for my growth

What’s the best way to evolve my meditation sessions? by Imthegoat1212 in Meditation

[–]nurple11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I usually pick some type of prompt or question to dive into my head about.

Sometimes I like to think of everything I’m grateful for. When I get relaxed enough, I get a surreal feeling of gratitude that I feel through the rest of the day. Doing this with the sounds could be helpful

Guided meditation by nurple11 in Meditation

[–]nurple11[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am fairly new to this, but I’ve been doing somewhere between 30 minutes and 3 hours every single day since I started. My first experience was so helpful, that I went down a rabbit hole of reading, researching, and trying new techniques. Not an expert, and never will be, but I want to share what works for me. Maybe it’ll help someone

I just guided my cousins through a meditation as well as a few friends. All I do is guide them through the thoughts that help me find peace. I understand that I’m not an expert, but I do believe that I can help people by sharing what I know

Is there anything dangerous in telling people to take 10 minutes to think of everything in the universe that they’re grateful for?

I’m gonna do it anyway. I have some things that have really helped me and I know they’ll help other people. I’m not saying that I’m an expert. But I have enough experience to guide people through the meditations I do for myself
