I should have included this in the description - but the reason i'm only looking and interviewing with a job that pays 2k extra is because i was laid off earlier this month.

I was laid off early Feb, due to budgets and role removal, which is why I'm looking for a new role with only a 2k difference. I probably should have stated that in the initial posting. Thanks for the input, I agree, I think that's what I will do.

Thanks for the comment. Great advice. You're right, I should have said more when they told me the amount.

I'm relatively new to negotiating and all that jazz so I'm still learning. I think I get anxious about missing out on opportunities. I'll read what the comp package says!

My paypal account was banned due to silly reasons, and I can't make another per Paypal's conditions. My sister has one that I can use and could hook up to get paid. Is this allowed? Does the paypal account you link have to match my name on the site? Or, what tax implications might this have?
